I never really got into anime when I was younger, but I can say that the first one I enjoyed was Cowboy Bebop. It seemed to have less of that weird, silly humor that I, unfortunately, don't really get. Well, "Ed" was about it for the series anyway. I really liked the noir storyline as well and I wish there was more like that...any suggestions?

Gundam SEED and Gasaraki are 2 which definitely come to mind.Springer145 wrote:I never really got into anime when I was younger, but I can say that the first one I enjoyed was Cowboy Bebop. Mine was Sailor Moon. Never did like it, but It's the first I remember watching... And then came the abomination that was Pokemon.../quote/
How odd that you say that even though it's referenced heavily in your sig.
On-topic, not counting original transformers, the movie specifically, don't remember how many time I rented that out as a kid, probably voltron, both lion force and vehicle force, especially the former, now I'm waiting for the combined box set of lion and vehicle force.
Also but probably later, and anime that had a, I think a brother and sister who when joining what may have been wands or something, would mege to form a big robot.
What really put an impression on me was evangelion.
And then we had sailor moon, pokemon, dbz and god knows what else up til now

As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

I remember watching Digimon and Pokemon as a kid. Then the Internet came into my home a few years ago and since then my anime watching habits exploded.
