Nathan Fillion as 'Ant Man' GEEKGASM POTENTIAL OVERLOAD!

Post by Wildrider »

Lots of rumours about this on the interwebs from several sites, none declaring a source except from the dubious 'Marvellous News' and both Fillion and Wright are neither confirming or denying it.

It's probably bullshit, but I can't help but squeeze some juice out of my geek gland and sniff the fluid of what might be!

I want it to be true so much, one of my favourite actors playing one of my favourite heroes? Although i wonder which version we'd get, probably a Hank Pym as opposed to Eric O'Grady (Fillion would have a blast with the O'Grady version.)

May tie in nicely with Whedon on the Avengers film, maybe a load of old codswallop.

I can dream and hope.

I've been deliberately not posting the rumour as I don't want to jinx it.

As far as versions go, if I'm remembering right, back when it was first announced/floated that Edgar Wright would be on the project the intent was for it to be Scott Lang.

Lang eh? I love Pym, a lot dont, but he could be a little stiff for Fillion, so still cool!

I can't help but get excited, I once opened a present a week before Christmas and when found busily assembling my Darth Vader jigsaw by my parents, I brazenly lied it was a little sen present from the year before...

Oh the stupidity of youth.

Lang would possibly make more sense, as it'd keep Pym free for Goliath/Giant Man. I mean, to your average cinema-goer Pym wouldn't be much more well-known anyway.

Yep. And you can always tie it back by saying that Lang nicked the equipment from Pym.
