Doctor Who Toys!!!!!

Post by Heinrad »

Wow, it is quiet in here, isn't it.....

Well, thanks to me getting lucky on eBay, I've finally got the 10th Doctor/RC K9 set, mainly gotten for the K9.

Anybody else get one of these sets? Or have you heard anything aobut them? The main reason I ask is that the remote for my wee tin doggie is wired up a little funny, and I'm wondering if this is a common problem, or if I just got zonked by the Universe's constant attempts on my life and sanity yet again.
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Only thing I've got is a diecast Gold Dalek I recently got given... It's not bad, I thought diecast was banned nowadays or something.

And it might be quiet in here, but that's a plus - no "Which version should I buy?"/"Is this recolour worth the vague value I am defining as 'it'?" crap in here...

I had one for my last birthday but haven't opened it yet (hell, I've only just started watching the Superman animated DVD's I ws given for Chriostmas two years ago), mainly due to lack of batteries.

The giant remote control Dalek is pure class in a glass though, scares the crap out of small children.

[That's the normal £30ish RC Dalek, not the hundred pound one that actually has a mutated Big Brother contestant in it or something...]

When I saw this in the latest issue of ToyFare, I instantly knew what my big purchase for the year would be:

I bought Amy Pond and the Eleventh Doctor the other day. :) I like Character options Doctor Who figures very much. They are great! That is all.
