Me collects Bionicles to. I acctually use them in a big alternate story line in which the Transformers descend from them (biomechanoid) and decided to built a world of their own since the old one was full of treachery. This storyline is so because I was six when I "designed" it. Maybe an idea to make an internet-story line.-Blackout- wrote:Transformers, Doctor Who and LEGO Bionicle.

Here are the lines I collect along with the status of each collection:
Visionaries- only missing 3 carded figures and I have the entire line sealed
M.A.S.K. - have about a quarter of all the vehicles sealed or boxed (only 1 is MIB as opposed to MISB) have all but 8 of the vehicles in complete mint loose condtion with the exception of Detonator which needs a missile, Meteor which needs a tailfin, Barracuda/Jackal which needs both figures and masks and Wolfbeast which needs a missile and both masks. I have 3 of the 5 US figure 2 packs, 3 of the 4 US adventure packs sealed and 3 of the 5 Euro adventure paks sealed.
Centurions- I only have Hacker, Max Ray, the Power Pack, a Doc Terror Flashlight, Tidal Blast and detonator sealed, a Strafer MIB and a loose Jake Rockwell so quite a ways to go there.
Sky Commanders- need 4 of the six figures sealed and 3 of the vehicles either boxed or sealed as well as the mail away.
Defenders of the Earth- I only have 2 of the vehicles boxed and 3 of the figures sealed, so again, some work to do there.
Captain Power- All but 1 of the figures sealed, all 3 Training Tapes sealed on card and about half of the vehicles sealed including 2 sealed skybike launchers.
Silverhawks- in bad shape, I only have a MIB Sky Runner and a sealed Stargazer.
C.O.P.S.- Also in bad shape- only have a loose complete Roadster, an incomplete Jailbird Airspeeder, a MIB Dragster and an incomplete Koo-Koo and Big Boss.
Robotech- just getting back into this, only have a MIB Excalibur and Bioroid and a Sealed Bioroid Terminator.
If anyone's interested, you can find a post with full images here.
I should point out that my MISB Slingshot, MISB Tidal Blast, MIB Vampire, 2nd MISB Skybike Launcher and MOSC Blastarr are all in transit and my MISB Detonator, MISB Buzzard, 2 sealed UK Adventure packs, Hondo/Matt sealed figure 2 pack and MOSC Leoric, Darkstorm & Cindar are all awaiting being photographed.

Man, you got almost everything you ever wanted when you were little! You had a wonderful childhood. I also thought that AIR RAIDERS , VISIONAIRIES and CENTURIONS were pretty cool as well.bowspearer wrote:Here are the lines I collect along with the status of each collection:

Heh actually with most of this stuff I've just sacrificed and gotten it within the last few years- kind of a case of finding my way back into toylines and a heap of luck on eBay and practically all my money going on them at the time. Alot of it (the visionaries & a good chunk of the captain power, Silverhawks and Centurions figures and a few of the M.A.S.K. figures) has been retail therapy for nearly being beaten to death coming off a train late last year.
I looked at adding Air Raiders to the collection, but I think my girlfriend would throw a fit if I added one more line to the collection heh.

aside from transformers. i have owned 5 my little ponys, they are so cute. y just the other year i took great pleasure in brushing their hair.
Let this be thy final lesson monster, no man is e'er defeated till his last breath is drawn! And e'en THEN, 'tis most unwise for the victor to assume the battle is ended, for with god and man, a war is ne'er over till the ultimate wrong is set aright and the final villain is DONE!

As well as TFs, I have collected Doctor Who toys (Character's stuff, not those crappy Dapol plastic farts), although I've just whittled it down to Season 3 characters now (my favourite of the Tennant era), plus that fragile but awesome Tardis interior playset 'FTW', as they say.
I also bought a few of those Ame Comi statues. I really like them, they're super cute and nicely designed and sculpted. Strange really, as I'm generally not keen on statues and busts.
What else? Hmm.. Bought a few Ghost Rider figures from Marvel's recent toylines (although I'd love to meet the dufus who thought fixing the Ketch Rider's right shoulder -so he can't lower his arm- was a good idea), but I'm generally not keen on them - too many joints leading to ugly looking toys that can't stand straight. And in Spider Woman's case - weird oversized man-hands. Ugh.
I bought a load of Lego City last year and adore the cute Farm stuff. I also put together a near complete run of '80s Castle sets from '84 - '88 (just missing the jousting tournament set from 1988, but its such an ugly thing I'm not fussed for it). i also picked up a few Power Miner sets on clearance at Wilkos, which are good fun and this year I discovered that Exo Force is incredibly cheap on Ebay, being one of the few Lego sub themes that hasn't held any value whatsoever, and most people can't seem to wait to get it off their hands, so I bought a load of that too!

I don't know where to start...
Pretty much everything from the 80's I collect, but I am focused on my MASK collection now. I finished off the entire Sectaurs toyline mib last year.
M.U.S.C.L.E.
Gi Joe
MOTU
Bravestarr
Silverhawks (almost done)
Battle beasts
Visionaries
Hot Wheels and Matchbox
Go Bots
Bandai Godaikin robots
TMNT
KO Transformers
Old motorized vehicle by Galoob.
That's all i can think of off the top of my head.
The one major line from the 80's I don't have a single piece of is Thundercats. I need to start on them.

I absolutely love my LEGO collection, though I find it hard nowadays to devote cash to them. Between my TF addiction and my fondness for video games, I can't seem to have enough money around for everything (also throwing in the fact that my wife and I now have a 1 month old child). I typically go through waves of collecting TFs, then LEGO, then games. It's a vicious cycle. I did recently pick up a DC Universe Superman fig a couple weeks back. Can't say I'll be still buying these at $15 each. They're pretty nice figs, but I think $10 each would be a little more tolerable...

I collect robots. Everything from robot action figures like Transformers and Star Wars Droids to robotic pet toys like Furby, FurReal Friends and Wappy Dog to battery operated toy robots Unfortunately I'm just starting over since I sold off my entire collection in the mid 00's. One of my biggest mistakes. I had everything. Plastic tubs filled with Transformers and Star Wars droids, Every single robot pet made including Sony Aibos, A Tomy Omnibot and other Tomy robots from the 80s and several robots that don't really fit into any line. Of those I think I miss my Furbys ( which are responsible for my fascination with robots ) and my G1 Soundwave the most. Sadly Soundwave is one of the few bots I planned to keep. I don't know where he got to. He just dissapeared one day.
I have nothing left from my childhood and truthfully I wouldn't really want any of the toys from my childhood ( save for my few Transformers, my transforming robot watch and my die cast Voltron set ) back. For the most part my interests then were vastly different than they are now. The only thing I really cared about then that I still care for now are dogs.
