This is going to be a tough one.
Whereas
this thread is about officially revealed information for the Revenge of the Fallen movie, the thread you are currently viewing is for SPOILER info. That means you can freely discuss the leaked info, rumors and whatever else surrounding this movie without any spoiler warnings - mostly.
When you feel that a leaked piece of news contains a MAJOR plot spoiler, use spoiler tags. Since it's hard to measure what constitutes a "major plot spoiler", my suggestion would be to use
reasonable restraint.
Feel free to refer to news from official sources in this thread too if it relates to leaked/rumored info.
A summary of leaked and rumored info will follow later.

Toys generally go in the "toys" therad, unless you're specifically deducing movie-related guesses based on the toys.
Since we currently assume "Detour" to be a toy-only character, he wouldn't belong in here at all.

A couple of questions about rumours I've lost track of...
SPOILER! (select to read)I'm probably way out of the loop on this one, but has anyone heard any more regarding the possible inclusion on Wheeljack in ROTF? I seem to recall he was briefly rumoured to be a Saab of some sort.
Also, any more gossip on Barricade coming back as an Audi R8?

@Nevs: Ok then. I did not know that Detour was assumed to be a toy-only figure.
@R'nR: About Wheeljack is nothing heard. The Saab you are meaning is The Areo X concept-car and their were indeed some rumors about that thing starring in the movie, but no news about that at all. Barricade is presumably still hiding because there's no news on the guy.

not true at all... barricades car (plus stunt doubles) was seen at the start of filming being moved around on the back of a trailer, along with prime's truck. presumably he appears in this form, even if only briefly. maybe a flasback, who knows? there were pictures on a blog somewhere. hardly seems worth the hastle moving three cars on the back of a flatbed purely for the heck of it (as the move wasn't publicised).

I'm not really sure what needs spoilering these days.
So I have been erring on the side of caution.
I figure the possible inclusion of any particular speculative character may be counted as a spoiler by some folks.
But, then, I'm not quite sure why you'd be checking in here at this late stage if you weren't looking for spoilers to discuss (so I'm probably being daft?).

I don't read comics but as far as my knowledge goes at this hour, I only know about the new Chevy Volt, the Corvette c7 concept, the Chevy tracks and his ugly brown SUV-ish sibling as concept-cars. The Areo-X was as far as I known only mentioned by vaque sources, rumours and the beginning of the filming. Later it was able to just Dissappear in the opposite way he was able to come; he was simply forgotten. I am not spoilering this one'cause I don't think its necceseary and because I am a bit confused about what I should and shoulden't spoil.

we already somewhat assumed that the original image was what we thought it was before this new matching (if very much more graphically detailed) image surfaced today. hardly a spoiler, as it doesn't tell us anything we didn't know.
it still looks uber-cool though.
and good to see we're finally getting *some* marketing. fingers crossed for that hoped-for superbowl advert.

indeed, we have a superbowl trailer! feb 1st (isn't that a bit late for the superbowl? i thought it was normally mid-late january?).
i'll be staying up to watch (and we'll see if i can NOT fall asleep at the end of the third quarter *again*), not that we get the american adverts or anything over here
hopefully yahoo (or whoever) will get an official version up at much the same time (didn't they have that exclusive version the last time round with cullens voice at the end? wonder if they'll do something similar this time round?)
as reported on seibertron (can you tell i've added their news feed to my reader?) i'd link, but it really doesn't tell you anything more than that.
EDIT: for link, see secretcodes post two after mine. my apologies, but i only had the aforementioned seibertron rss feed. and i was tired. do i get lines, or should i go straight to the headmasters office?
