They could always make him completely the wrong colour and then release him as an Anime Version at a later date (or as an exclusive)...

That seems likely, considering MP-03 Screamer's Star/cracker hybrid paint job. I'm sure it'll be a nice piece nonetheless.

Well, 'UNCLE' version, black and brown? I could so easily TAKARA making THAT one the 'real' release, and then saying the silver one is a 'special'.

Oversized P-38 is still better than undersized P-38.

I also heard the transformation scheme would be similar to the original toy. I hope they will manage to do away with the faults of that one though (ie. trigger crotch, worst hips ever).

Yeh, but those problems aren't as emphasised on Browning, so they should easily be able to better it - the P38 was most likely only picked because of the "base mode" making it a more obvious a counterpoint to Prime - Browning, while not perfect, looks a lot better (and anyone who's owned one seems to prefer him - Denyer for one, and I know he isn't Fortmaxing).

Well, I am certainly happy that he is going to be a gun. It keeps with the nostalgia of the previous MP's.
