Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Cog and Flywheels are mercifully not really impacted much by this, but yeah, it looks pretty ugly. There's not even any real attempt to make it look like anything on Cog, he just has a couple random blobs of silver. I actually just thought the first one I'd picked up had gotten paint slop on it, un...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Target sells Siege Deluxes for US$20 (Can$26,53, £15.56), which is the same price they sell SS Deluxes for. PotP Deluxes are US$17, Cyberverse Warriors are US$15. Walmart started selling SS Deluxes at US$20, but then dropped them to US$17. I haven't seen Siege at Walmart yet, so I don't know if that...

Re: NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

I'll probably reread LSotW this summer, when the weather's nice enough to sit outside on my deck at night. I managed to get Darkwing out of Starscream's shoulder joint. I have to turn Dreadwing 90 deg to apply enough force, but it works. I opened Skytread/Flywheels . I'm pretty impressed. I much pre...

Newest Aquisitions!

The vehicle mode looks like a protoform's go-kart though and isn't very good. Especially as she has too nubbins which catch on the ground in front of the rear wheels. whyyyyy? There are little notches in the clear part of the roof that these nubbins slide into to hold the roof in place in bot mode....

I spent most of Saturday afternoon hitting 2 TRU, 2 Targets, 2 Walmarts, and a comic/toy shop looking for PotP the next state over, only to find Bludgeon and Thermidor instead. It only took about 9 months, but I finally opened that Thermidor . He was in my small pile of unopened figures that I hadn...

Walmart.com had the G1 Hot Rod marked down to $12.97. I went to my local Walmart to pick one up, and he rang up at $29.99. I showed the cashier the ad, he had his supervisor check on-line for himself, and I got the mark down.

Studio Series #21 - Starscream Like Ratchet, SS Starscream is a reworking of the DotM Deluxe, released in two decos. This is the tattooed version. The deco is similar to the DotM deluxe, but not identical. The stripe pattern is different, and my SS Starscream lacks any tattoo deco on his right thig...

with MP-01

Here's what I mean about maybe scaling with MP-01. The height wouldn't be too bad if 'Bee weren't canonically small. But 'Bee really shouldn't be broader shouldered than Optimus. An Ironhide or Trailbreaker this size would work.

Power Charge Bumblebee (the BIG Movie 6 'Bee) *PROOFED; Ganon578 3/31/20)

Name: Power Charge Bumblebee Line: Bumblebee Movie Size: Leader+ Bio: I threw out the box, but, c'mon, it's 'Bee. You know the deal. Robot Mode: 'Bee is packed in bot mode in a partially open box, exposed to the elements. Removing the cardboard shell reveals a robot that's quite impressive, but doe...

PotP Punch/Counterpunch - I have a little trouble getting the windshield halves to tab into and out of the dash. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the figure. I agree that a Primemaster shell would've made a much better accessory than a fist for a non-limb. Or, give P and CP each a weapon that co...

Cyberverse Windblade & Megatron - I've been avoiding reading about upcoming toys and lines since I missed being surprised when I saw new toys on the shelves*. All I'd seen of Cyberverse before I saw them in store was a single picture of wave 1 in a random thread. I looked away quickly, so all I...

T30 Arcee actually reminds me a lot of some of Takara's Beast Wars molds, or the RiD cars, with how her robot mode mostly just wears the car instead of actually turning into it. But that's pretty much what has to happen if you want a car to turn into her 80s character model, unless you make the fig...

PotP Wreck-Gar - More backpack, but less leg kibble, than the RtS one. He looks pretty good riding Junkheap, though it's a tiny bit awkward since he lacks a wrist swivel, requiring the upper arms to be turned to line up the fistholes with the handlebars. Junkheap cannot ride WG due to Junkheap's le...

I voted motorcycle. I don't have any preference for what she should be, but so far, I've liked the motorcylcle toys more than the cars. T30 was too much of a shellformer, which not only looked bad, but results in a smaller bot since so much of the toy's mass wasn't incorporated into the bot. The TR ...

DotM Megatron from Clay. For all the talk of movie figures downsizing, he's actually smaller than TLK Voyagers due to his undersized torso, which helps sell the sickly look they're going for. I've given him Evasion Prime's weapon, which is notched to fit Meg's hand. I wonder if they planned this whe...

SS Ratchet #16 - I'd passed on the original SS Ratchet since it looked pretty plain. This deco looks much better. It's an improved version of the DotM figure I already own, with better use of shoulder kibble, a beefier bot, and slimmer backpack. Power Charger 'Bee - This had been in stock for a whi...

Yes. I'm looking for this one . I tried to attach an image to this post, but the rules at the bottom say I may not. I may attach images to posts in other threads, though. I plan to ship the boxed figure in a bubble-lined envelope. That's how my last TFs came from Amazon, and that worked out OK. I'll...

I picked up a couple PotP Novastars last week: one to complete my all red Betatron, the other to go with Elita-1 and Moonracer. Nova's Moonracer with a new head, weapon, and paintjob. They did a pretty good job of differing the paint apps so they look different. Probably the best example is the tria...

I have an extra MISB TLK Deluxe Hotrod; make an offer

Trade completed; please ignore When I found TLK Hotrod, I bought 2, since Ollie's is pretty far out of my way, and I didn't want to make a 2nd trip if one was defective. The first one isn't defective, so I have a spare. I'll trade it for a Deluxe or larger figure I don't already have. Open/used is ...
