Because there's not that much else interesting on the net. I just cruise in here hoping for some sort of interesting thread to waste time in, and also reach my goal of custom rank "El Pelican Diablo".

Well, Hasbro did say that they have to repaint every Alternator to get their money's worth from the licensing agreements.

Bit of a pity about UN Ultras, but if they ain't selling, then they have to move on.

I was hoping, that with the leaps and bounds made in technology and design in the last 20 years, they could basically redesign the original moulds. Just bump 'em up a size bracket, design a new connection scheme for gestalt mode, and give em articulation in individual and limb modes. They've designe...

Amazon's got some reissues nice and cheap (in comparison to before).

If I want HCS reissues, I basically have to order online. My local TRU's an Express, and the only reissue it's had have been 2 OPs (for A$90, mind you) which they only got in because a fellow collector asked very, very nicely.

I personally believe that organised religion can (and probably will) be mankind's greatest downfall. The Church and the Bible are guides for life. I only try to live right, and hope that I have a good relationship with my creator, lord and saviour. I will never force my beliefs on anyone else. If Ch...

Buying DVDs - the hidden menace of the credit card

So, I bought $230-ish of R1 DVDs for friends and myself about a month and a half back, from DVD Pacific, using my Visa debit card. Today, my statement arrived, with a notable irregularity. US$39.99 (A$57.38) to "LIP,Inc" on 21/7. So, I ran it through Google, and find out that customers fro...

Concrete. Goes straight, up to the old garage (converted into the room I'm sitting in right now), then takes a left into a 2-car carport. Has some scrapes in it from bobcat/pavers being delivered/etc when Dad had the backyard repaved.

You're lucky I know my mate sH (who, incidentally, kindly supplied the Samuel Jackson screencap in another thread). With the amount of DVDs he imports, he has found a good variety of dealers. Hope it helps. Region 1 : * DVD Pacific . Absolute champions. Nice prices, and nice shipping times, but ship...

I either wait, wait a bit more, and by about 3 months after the first Australian sightings, it gets in stock in Wagga. If it's clear that said item is not coming to Wagga (ie. it's a Target exclusive, or TRU reissue), then I either phone order from Target, or go online, and see where my search takes...

As long as Bond doesn't end up looking like "Poita", then I'll be happy.

Sure, Bana isn't the world's greatest actor, but I reckon he's got enough dry, cool wit to pull off Bond better than Lazenby.
