Grimmy uses the car seats for feet, hence the red house shoes. I think the biggest difference about him is that, instead of having the car parts strewn about like tracks, he keeps them more or less intact. That's why the articulation goes farther, and why he looks so much 'thicker' than the other al...

Originally posted by Nevermore Actually, the Masterpiece toys are more in the 1/32 scale range, in vehicle mode at least. Really? Eh, what the hey... hope you don't mind using the archive's bandwidth. It's a lot quicker than logging in to my piddly little webspace.

And a picture of the aerialbots sharing their weapons so afterburner/stormjet can be armed.

Buildron can do this.
I'd say his individual bots are a little less spectacular compared to superion and bruticus, but his gestalt mode has by far the best articulation.

New toys, pre-christmas!
I got my superlink buildron today, along with alternator meister and grimlock. I'm pretty smitten. Grimlock is... wow. Not only have they rectified the problem on the car kibble getting in the way of articulation, he's just seems bigger in robot mode compared to the other alternators. This is the be...

1:72 means it would take 72 toy jets to equal the length/width of a real jet. 1:24 means it takes 24 toy cars to equal the length/width of a real car. 1:72 is a smaller scale than 1/24, but it means the robot modes will be comparable. Real jets are BIG. Remember that when considering scale sizes. Al...

Made the Anime Convoy picture smaller: ~200kb now. Also did Superlink Galvatron and Energon Towline and a nemesis prime animation. The nemesis prime needs another frame or two to be more smoothly animated, and that's beside the point considering that I have no more webspace :( Before I fix it, shoul...

Shockblast/Starscream?
I know they're different continuities, but has anyone else noticed that Starscream and Shockblast reversed roles in Energon from their G1 counterparts? In G1, Starscream was always the disloyal, incompetant backstabber, while Shockwave was the patient, capable servant. In Energon, they seemed to hav...

Most energon toys are top of the heap. The only real exceptions are the autobots with the powerlink gimmicks built in (the deluxes and megas). Tow-Line is a big exception to that, though. I think the little omnicons have their charms, but not everyone likes them. Other than that, pretty much anythin...
