The 2007 movie is a lot better. Watched it again yesterday. And while on the first watching I had a complaint about the new designs etc I think if you step back as an original '80's former fan and look at it with an open mind the 2007 movie is really good. It has a good plot (yes some glitches but a...

Maybe a good sculpt and all but I still dislike the Rodimus Prime (or Hot Rod for the matter) character.

Legends are awesome to me since I see a tabletop game brewing in my mind and these are just perfect! Kids like'em since they can handle them with care. Though I admit Sideways is kinda difficult critter with his transformation compared to Bumblebee & Ratchet. Plus in vehicle mode they fit perfec...

Legends (RotF) Ratchett
Legends (RotF) Sideways

again enjoyable. Sideways most difficult to Transform.

Surprise for the kids, they where even below discount sale, so they'll find them this morning racin' next to Bumblee, Prime, Megatron, Jazz and Jetfire.

Sorry for necromancy.

* DEATH THREAD ARISE*

But I rapid-download-shared various idw comics. Having read Marvel in the '80's, early '90's nothing else.

IDW is mediocre at best imo.

However.

Spotlight: Shockwave is just plain awesomely cool. Why on earth isn't the rest like this?

My son and daughter got these in the past time (or so): Optimus Prime (the one who can rotate his upper torso and hit things), cool robot mode, crappy truck. Jazz (Animated Battlecars thing, hey he speaks cool). Bumblebee (Legends/RotF, nifty Transformer) Megatron RPMS (okay, not a 'Transformer' in ...

Movie gets better second time you watch it. True. Odd, isn't it? I mean, it is Transformers and that's why it is cool. You should listen the commentary track and suddenly a lot of things fall into place. Between the crappy jokes of the three commentators they say why Transformers isn't our (with our...

I don't care, as long as they bring back '80's robot designs. At least you could identify everyone back then. In the movies this is a really difficult job to do. Only keep Bumblebee from these movies, he is way more better then in the '80s. Storywise: it should be Transformers. Get it? Also: Spielbe...

Either way, I didn't go to see a seemingly hot babe, I went to see the movie for robots pounding the slag out of each other. That is what Transformers is all about! I guess I have a differing opinion. Back when I started reading Tranformers it also featured humans. Quite a lot actually. Without hum...

3 loyal crewmembers. lol, they're just annoyed Megan Fox didn't give them any attention during shooting. Creeps. I think she was a really good choice for Transformers movies. Also, she looks really good. Plus: I cannot phantom why you would want to have Megatron to stamp on her and then have someone...

So I read and read.... IDW (spoilers included) Infiltration The beginning. A new take on the transformers on earth in the beginning. Story was nicely told though the Starscream/Megatron split was ehm unexplained. Last page of #6 was best. The art was pretty okay. The jet in the preview was awesome. ...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Issue 70 is in my opinion also one of the best in the whole serie. From the whole matrix search (minus the wild west crap) through scream and defearing Unicron the comic was at its high point. Excellent way to finish it imo.

So.... the IDW publications are rather poor then? Just yesterday I read US Marvel 76-80 for the first time! I never knew they written those! In the Dutch translations back then they ended when Optimus Prime blew up Unicron. 76-80 do feel forced to me and not needed in anyway. Ofcourse, Andy Wildman'...
