Re: So I'm pretty much out of the fandom at this point
In the interest of curiosity being certainly lethal to felines; would people still here be interested in trying to raise TF Archive from the ashes? Or is it generally accepted that the amount of dust laying on this place now really defines it properly as an Archive and should be left as such? Askin...

Digging the look of the Allicon. Didn't realize it was the things from Quintessa, kept thinking it was the Alligaticon from City of Steel. Need to see the other mode of both it and the Quintesson but thus far I'm interested. Not liking the concept of the 6 inch Joes. I get why they're doing it, sinc...

Re: IT'S TIME FOR A NEW YOUTUBE THREAD
Yeah, the Spree is good stuff. Saw them in concert a few years ago when they first appeared at RetroCon near Philadelphia. Seems they've made that a yearly thing. Even pledged their Kickstarter to get a signed copy of the CD. And for another bit of music, here's an 80s remix of Linkin Park's Numb. I...

Re: Official Transformers new/upcoming releases! Hasbro, TakaraTomy and more
Have to say I'm a bit disappointed that we're getting Arcee before Galvatron. Yeah, I know. All the anecdotes of villians not selling as well in Japan, Arcee being one of the rare female characters, easy repaint into a Paradron Medic to get extra use from the mold, maybe someone in charge of release...

Star Wars: Thrawn: Treason - Written by Timothy Zahn. This is the third in the new canon Thrawn trilogy. Oooh, this is something I'm excited for. I read it when it first came out, forgot to say something here. I'd rate it as better than the first of the new Thrawn books and at least as good as Alli...

Re: Who's buying all these Funko Pops?
Not particularly a fan of the style but since they make so many of the things, they end up hitting characters that don't seem to get a lot of merch or versions of characters that don't get much merch.
So between that and being able to snag certain ones cheap for varying reasons, I own maybe 10.

Hoist looks good. Starscream I'm indifferent on, there's been so many seeker options over recent years. Wheeljack's robot looks off to me, can't place why. I like that they gave Cliffjumper his assassination bazooka. Digging the Zarak and thus likely Scorponok

Re: Official Transformers new/upcoming releases! Hasbro, TakaraTomy and more
Anyone else surprised by how tepid the support has been for this? I figured that they'd blow way past the 8,000 mark without too much difficulty. When it was announced I never in a million years would have thought they'd have this much trouble finding buyers. Not really. Near $600 is a pretty big a...

You're welcome. Glad to be of help. Maybe should have mentioned I have the Unite Warriors version, though that doesn't really impact my prior statements.

Re: Advice sought (general thread)
Haven't had any problems with my Devastator, though I should note that I haven't really broken it down to the individual Constructicons often or run it through varying action poses. So I can't really speak to any durability issues from repeated fiddling. I know it's not 'teh best toy evar' or anythi...

Yeah, this one was unexpected. How do they get to Lioconvoy but still haven't done a Galvatron yet?Warcry wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 2:22 pm Masterpiece...Lioconvoy? Wasn't expecting that so soon. Looks pretty neat though.

Re: G1 Starscream, 1:1 scale jet mode custom!
Surprised we didn't see this sort of thing more often. Reminds of something I saw years ago. Was watching some show on History Channel talking about military vehicles and they were showing off an MLRS or some other mobile missile platform. What caught me by surprise was seeing a small Cobra symbol o...

Here's the thing, do you get the initial release or the eventual V2 when they figure out the engineering required to make him cube-able?

Thanks! I'll give it a go, but I'll probably wait until I spy the paperback somewhere. Probably the best way to go about it, given your review of the first one. Speaking of the first new Thrawn book, I liked it, cause Thrawn. But I can see how you'd have the opinion you do. It does suffer from 3 th...

Star Convoy looks cool, but does he come with a Micromaster Hot Rod?
Yeah, I don't quite get the point of a new MP Bumblebee. I suppose since they're leaning hard on being as cartoon accurate as possible but man do those feet and backpack look crap compared to V1.

Star Wars: Thrawn : Alliances - I believe this is the second of a trilogy in the new canon, written by Timothy Zahn. Is it any good? I read the first of his "new canon" Thrawn books a year or two ago and it was okay, but in no way did it grab my attention the way his 90s Thrawn books did....

Wouldn't say favorite, but I did soften my opinion on Verity Carlo over the years. Mainly because of the Wreckers books. I kept wanting her show up in MTMTE or Lost Light so we could see the reaction to Uncle Minimus.

For anyone that was trying credentials their browser had saved, out of interest a) what browser, b) did it try to enter anything [some browsers are very specific about what URLs/forms the saved credentials get tried against -- and this is completely different software], and c) did you try entering ...
