Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Studio Series 86 Kup Ah, the flinty old warrior. This is nice. I liked the Titans Return toy but I like having the character looking something like without the Titan Master gimmick. The robot mode is nice and clean, so much so you wonder if this thing actually transforms. The pop off limbs is a fun...

Re: WFC Kingdom Cyclonus question

Mine's got the Decepticon sigil tampo'd on his chest in robot mode. There are a terrific amount of KOs about at the moment, but seems to be mainly Live Action Movie stuff and Masterpiece. Not seen any of the Siege stuff bootlegged ...yet.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

Since the shops opened, seen a lot of folk now just paying lip service to wearing masks. Or should that be chin service, given that most people seem to be wearing them like they're stopping their jaws falling off. Meanwhile, the Delta variant continues it's merry rampage thanks to our superb border ...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Studio Series 86 Jazz Had my eye on Jazz for a bit, and what a great figure he is! The robot mode is very tidy and he poses like a champ. Comes with his blaster thing and looks like a proper dude. Transformation is pretty inventive, taking what the original did and just fancying it up a bit. I like...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

The number of folks you see on other sites pining for an "Earth-mode" retool kind of baffles me, though. It already looks like an Earth car so unless they're going to make him a licensed Countach, how would it be any different? You'll be pleased to know one is showing up as an Amazon excl...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

Yup. All sorts of shenanigans going on. Employers Furloughing staff, claiming loans and still making staff work. Fun times. Can hardly say we managed things much better. We had so much contact at the start of the pandemic, we just gave anyone who got in touch a payment holiday without bothering to c...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

That 'National Database' of GP records isn't a new thing. New Labour spaffed millions of pounds on a failed National IT Database that came to nothing*. The aim was to create a system where medical records could be easily accessed when people were admitted to hospital. Like everything else, the gover...

Generations Selects Tigertrack This nicely scratches the itch I've had for this figure for such a long time. Of all the funny G1 repaints of the 2000s, this is the one I'd wanted since I clapped eyes on it. I like the MP version but those things aren't fun to play with. This is just lovely. Nice br...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

...I didn't mind Optimal Optimus feeble alt modes. The size and bling were enough for me, and I liked the light up laser guns. The 'blast shields' are annoying though and I see the POTP figure loses those, which are no great loss. I was just indifferent to the POTP version, I didn't care about it on...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC

I've not been to many shops and when I have, gone late in the day when it's quieter. Did have a coffee in a coffee shop this morning. It' was a drive thru one near my mum's (where I'm at whilst she's getting a proper roof put on the conservatory) ,so doesn't have loads of sit in customers anyway. Fe...

Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS

I suppose the kind of fan questions at these things are going to skew more towards G1 / heritage stuff, because that's the kind of stuff that dominates fandom. Interesting that Hasbro weren't sure a full SS86 line would be a goer, so hedged their bets by sticking some in Kingdoms. Would have made mo...

^Wow. Got my first jab on Saturday (had to delay it a bit thanks to my MMR shot a few weeks previous) . Slumming it with the AZ jab, but happy to have had it. Site was efficiently organised and lots of cheery volunteers squirting sanitiser at you at every turn like it's a perfume department in a dep...

Generation 2 Slag I've been playing about with my G2 figures lately, I thought about getting the Dinobots. So now I have a green Slag. He's cool. The green colouring is a bit mad. I don't really know what Hasbro were thinking with the Dinobot colours they went for. They kind of fall into the 'nice ...

@Denyer - good shout. Thanks! Generally been alright with colds and stuff. Bit snuffly through stupid allergies more than anything else.

@Tantrum - hope your health continues to pick up. Sounds like you've had it rough :O

@Unicron - I like wearing a mask. I look like a ninja!

Re: Marvel Phase 4

i can't wait for cinemas to open. I love the little Light cinema we have in Bradford. Hipsters come in and introduce the film. Cute! I did consider streaming, but it's not the same and Amazon were charging more than cinemas do to watch at home, so no thanks. Don't know how excited I am for Marvel Ph...

I've got my jabs booked in, so that's exciting. Also had my first MMR jab this week, as it turns out the Doctor's have no record of my having it (I can't remember having it either. Remember the polio thing, as you got that on a sugar cube, and having the Tetanus acupuncture at Secondary School). Tha...

Generations Selects Bug Bite Nifty repaint of Siege Cliffjumper with Netflix Bumblebee's head. Shame the Beetle alt-mode is absent, but otherwise a great looking figure. I miss the mad 'rad' tattoos of the BotCon version, but it seems ToyHax do a label sheet for that, so might have to see if I can ...

Power Rangers Lightning Collection Ranger Slayer Saw this while looking through Comics And Cocktails website and thought it looked absolutely awesome. It was on clearance as the small blaster accessory is missing, and was an absolute bargain. Love the figure; it's got a dynamite mix of pink, black,...

Siege Netflix Deep Cover Blue version of a figure I picked up barely a month ago. Love this mold, it's awesome. Not bored of it yet, despite owning it three times over already. Has the Siege battle damage going on, which is alright. Not sure about the 'scratches' on the windscreen, but whatever. Pa...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Lots of Stuff about CW Devastator I had mixed feelings with this set. It's fun and quick to Transform, and I bet I'd have loved this as a nipper, but does all feel a bit Playskool. I missed the play features of the individual vehicles too! I can see with this, and to some extent, Predaking, that Ha...
