Didn't look like it from the pics... I'm not sure you can really tell from the pics? Brawl's waist is always going to look a bit shonky due to how it's designed, but there's a little tab in the midst of all that, which is supposed to hold it all together but isn't very secure. I was just wondering ...

To be fair, this is a good way to give some limelight to some obscure/lesser-known bands on the Sony label. They know Transformers fans will buy any old rubbish, and the idea seems to be to get fans to listen to this and think: "Wow, this is great, I must go out and buy the new SPURS album!&quo...

Maketoys Hardhead arrived today. Looks really great in both modes and the transformation is a lot more intuitive than their Chromedome. It's fun and doesn't feel like a chore. Again, kibble is minimal, however the knee and elbow joints look a bit shonky from certain angles. Lots of die-cast. Has rea...

The West are getting a G2 Bruticus (pictures are already out there), but it uses the Hasbro jet Blast Off rather than the shuttle (Boo!)

Hopefully the floppy waist issue on the tank mould gets fixed!

Very intrigued to see what they'll do there, given they don't look to be superdeforminated. And especially as XTB seem committed to the notion of quite nice designs that aren't particularly well executed. I know XTB have a bit of a bad reputation for QC, but some of their figures (their Blaster and...

My favourite Wildman easter-egg is the Toilet Doors of Unicron. Not because it was particularly funny, but because it finally gave us an in-universe explanation as to where Cyclonus's Armada got to.

Whilst an MP Sunstreaker would be cool, I just don't think Sunsurge looks that good. Maybe he's better in hand but the combination of long legs and shorter-than-I'd-like chest roof makes him look like someone's just given him an almighty wedgie. I liked their Brawn and Outback but this guy just seem...

Well I love Devastator, he's a great toy and I'm so grateful to Hasbro for making this a mass-market release. The individual figures are a little hollow, and there have been some aesthetic compromises made with regards to Long Haul and Mixmaster, but otherwise this thing is a beaut. Individually the...

Doubtful. I don't think any of the Unite Warriors sets have come with the appropriate Legends figure. No, the legends were all sold separately, as part of the TAV line. Groove was repainted into the Triggerbot Override, Blackjack into Runabout and Powerglide had a few minor changes (different paint...

For reasons of posterity, let it be known that Morg is incorrect in his statement that the toy the kid choked on was the Cylon Raider - it was definitely the Colonial Viper. The lawsuit oddly described the killer toy as being shaped liked a "penis", a description that fits the long forward...

Yeah, I've changed mine to a three nights in the same room, only saved ten pounds in my case but it saves the faffing about of having to change rooms on the Sunday morning. As much as a big party in Ryan's over sized pad sounds fun, he might want to try and get in for the cheaper room options as we...

I managed to book okay but was a bit late, so I settled for a family room for all three nights. On the plus side, I'm happy to host a room party in my expensive, oversized lodgings; definitely going to bring my own booze this year because the hotel bar is a bit of a rip-off.

Every combining toy from Combiner Wars, Unite Warriors and TAV released thus far (except for the three Devastators, who don't fit on the shelf).

Yeah, I'm all in for the combiners, so the Headmasters line will be a chance for me to ease off on the spending! I have the legends Buzzsaw (bought that entire wave just to get a Shockwave) and it is terrible.

Oooh, I think I got zero. I was confident about Question 8 because I thought the next place Death's Head turned up in was the Marvel Bumper Holiday Special. This contained individual stories from the Galaxy Rangers, Real Ghostbusters etc. DH appears in a Doctor Who story in that holiday special. It...

Zombie thread!!!!! As part of a new year resolution thingy, I have decided to read the IDW trades (having read little-to-no IDW stuff previously), and up first was this little gem. I think I liked it a bit more than most of the comment above (which seem mostly negative). Being a total geewunner mean...

I'm going to have sort of a second Christmas tomorrow, as the other side of my family come round to visit. But today I got the Lego Architecture Trevi Fountain, the latest season of Family Guy, the Beatles "1+" four disc Cd/Blu-ray set, a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and the latest ...
