Funnily enough, I can remember stuff that happened ten years ago -- it's chunks of the intervening decade I'm now very hazy on. I assume it was this article; http://www.boston.com/news/globe/living/articles/2006/10/11/the_bots_are_back/ That'd be the one. Memories! And you were trying to propel me ...

Speaking of which, I just read over a PM you sent to me from 2006 about the Boston Globe interviewing Transformers fans in Boston, Denyer. Sure wish I had read that all those years ago. Whatever became of that...?

Hey, it happens, man. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Agreed. Same guy who did all those funny "Return of Optimus Prime" parodies I've seen on YouTube, I'm sure.

Favorite part was the cassettes being used as striking pads.

Haha, that speaks pretty highly about all that "private message and no response," stuff in retrospect, huh?

Thanks for letting me know though. I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.

Anyone seen Spengs?

I've been out of the loop for a while. Messaged the guy but got no response. Can anyone clue me in to where he might be actively posting these days... or maybe steer the guy in my direction? Thanks in advance.

More a general point that anything aimed at you personally - it's a general trend in some areas of fandom to criticise things in the films that are prevalent in other areas (which is mad; if people hate the films more power to them, it just bugs me when they say "this and this fault"). Fa...

1. He uses bullet points, he must be right! 2. Your link doesn't work. Copyright infringement, yadda yadda. 3. Despite the fact that I can see your side of the argument, I don't have any unjustified bias for Michael Bay. But you're welcome to keep assuming that. Obviously what was written in the scr...

I can see where both Cliff and horizon are both coming from. You see temporal inconsistencies all the time in action flicks to add to the suspense, ("There's a bomb going off in 30 seconds!" /scene elapses for 10 minutes) and though not every minute detail of what each and every character ...

Look what I found: "Vin Diesel uses diamond studded condoms. He uses them with no regard for his partners pain, but after sex, offers them radiator coolant, for use as local anesthetic." "Vin Diesel kicked the original Gerber baby in the face because he gave him 'a look.'" "...

Getting some midgets to dress up as Ewoks and droids would be a nice touch... and coincidentally, the same way they do it in the real thing.

Also, what does blue Kool-Aid have to do with anything?

You should just have Bombshell go there. I'm pretty sure no one's got him beat in overall Star Wars fanboy-ness.

It might even attract Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and some free publicity on the Conan show.
