Wow...i never knew they didnt tap into this vast empty era.So why in the name of god would they create ONE MORE incarnation of Transformers...make a new cartoon of it, and make it similar but annoyingly different than the original?

I never really knew about them in G1 before. I just saw them in the episode "5 faces of darkness" or something. So is this where the new race of Predacons began?And are predacons basically transformers with animal alternate forms? And if these guys do have something to do with the same BW ...
