Quick update -- there's now a UK stockist and opportunity to get the crowd funding bonuses. This apparently also includes the expansion sets in the price.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Probably isn't a script for that part beyond guff about rapport with example questions which some of them have taken literally. And almost certainly nothing supporting contractors who are being sexually propositioned or dragged into domestics. Apart from a lot of them being under-utilised at a guess...

Serco might just be stunned at anyone answering phones / not having preemptively blocked them.

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
I think it's 65 based on parents and the NHS site. It's a good example -- now routinely given in childhood (one of the two main types is, different one for over-65 vaccinations) and no broader catch up programme. Versus what they've pissed up the wall this year on unusable PPE and direct-award contr...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
True, it's not to say there can't be benefit, it's just a bit of an arse-backwards approach and half the time they're just guessing between viral and bacterial; if something goes on for a while prescribe -- most GPs would never actually test to make a better decision and we're staring down antibioti...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Yeah, as I may have mentioned it was the stubbornness of the dry cough that was noticeable around ours, bad enough to stay far away from anyone who might be badly affected, and a colleague who travels a lot and just doesn't get sick getting it as bad as anyone. Colleague's husband who works for a re...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Glad you're feeling better -- it can reportedly come and go, particularly days 7-10 in the basic pattern, but I think what's being seen in more serious cases where people haven't had obvious underlying health issues is generally long exposure times or otherwise higher viral loads. (And as with pneum...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Concur with those who don't think it's a hoax but probably got covered up for a while, hence the quick escalation -- Trump wouldn't willingly admit illness. Best case scenario is incapacitated for a few weeks or longer. Ventilation's good but they still have a responsibility to heat to minimum tempe...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Keeping me company whilst working... I'm not much for the cartoon but do love the movie and wanted a toy of this since I first saw it. Much nicer than the promo pics make out and even though the transformation's a bit of a cheat. Also, take care with the small arms, they're soft plastic and the join...

while I won't link to the GFM directly in case that contravenes board rules We're not really very fussy about anything here. Sorry for your loss, dude. One of these years I might finish the one I started (warning, it's mostly a series of offensive quasi-jokes) -- strange how that time doesn't seem ...

Hasbro is relaunching HeroQuest
Saw this over lunch. It seems to be a more-or-less straight redo with modern style assets. It's Hasbro Pulse, which = **** the rest of the world outside of the US/Canada, and I have to say lacks the charm of the realistic Les Edwards art that the original had. It's clearly had a lot of effort put in...

There's a couple of zip files marked as his -- they're small, non-animated graphics though (presuming the animations are what you're after?)

Mirrors of GeoCities and similar are probably your best bet. eg http://www.geocities.ws/prime357/tfdownloads.html http://www.angelfire.com/vt/ValorDracul/TF.html There's a handful on his DeviantArt account as well. Obviously best to grab what you can and mirror/rehost if possible, as who knows how l...

I'd be all about a flocked Moss Man. Apparently there is one, released a couple of years ago through TRU so a bit hard to find now. -- https://www.toysonfire.ca/shop/product/pop-television-masters-of-the-universe-vinyl-figure-moss-man-flocked-568-toys-r-us-exclusive-66690?search=Funko&page=95 Also ...

Re: Figures that could make a good Xaaron?
Did a first few coats in snatches of time and am fairly happy even if it stays like that for ages. Vallejo yellow ochre is matte, has good coverage and dries to re-coat very quickly. I'm minded not to cut off the mount, it makes a nice minimal armament. https://i.imgur.com/6WRGcHT.jpg https://i.imgu...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
Is it too early to wax nostalgic on Titans Return? I like figures that have added posing options because of their transformations, and Windblade being able to meditate is a nice one. The sword is a cast by the chap who I bought a repro Bludgeon gun+turret from, which was very kindly added to the ord...

Sneaky bois. https://i.imgur.com/h9u2zwc.jpg https://i.imgur.com/h9u2zwc.jpg edit: It wasn't so bad when exclusives just meant only being available at a single brick & mortar chain that I'd probably stop by anyway. Now it seems like more and more figures are only available on-line, from a limited nu...
