Captain America = Superman One has powers, one doesn't, but they're both the guys that the respective universes heroes will follow. Iron Man = Batman Pretty much a given- both strong seconds with a paranoid streak. The fact that they're both millionaire playboys is merely coincidence. Dr Doom = Lex ...

Then that would be counts and I don't believe we have any of those in England. Again, as I never really pay attention to 'real' people, how the hell would I know anyway?

I always figured the best way to take coffee was the way Flash has it in the 'Justice League' cartoon- cream and 37 sugars. Then it may not taste so much like the coffee from 'Hogfather' or 'Blackadder the Third'. Tea for me. Semi-skimmed and one sugar. Thank you kindly, in the words of Benton Fraser.

Wow... this really isn't your week, is it?

Just be careful not to go out if it forecasts rain. With your luck holding the way it has been, it'll turn into a bloody typhoon on you.

Not so much funny as bizarre. May bank holiday, at work, I came across a DVD entitled 'Aaargh! It's The Mr. Hell Show!' For those who don't know of this, it's a late 1990s (or possibly early this millennium) work featuring Bob Monkhouse voicing the devil. The catalogue number of the DVD features '66...

Face-to-face, I might be able to give you some help. Over the board, not a chance. I'm not stupid or arrogant enough to say 'I understand what you're going through', but I really honestly hope it turns out for the best for you Erik.

Spider Jerusalem rules all...

Got books 4-7 of Transmetropolitan today: 3 from Amazon and 1 from Forbidden Planet- all arriving on the same day. Nearly as bizarre as some of the contents of the series, but never mind that.... I am going now to locate volumes 8-10 and 0 of this awesome series. I admit, there's a high probability ...

Woohoo! Awesome creative team tackling a now ace super-team. Don't get me wrong: I read some of the Straczynski/McKone FF and it was good; but after reading Ultimates 2, and having Black Panther (a much under-used Marvel hero) and Storm replace Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman, this book is gonna b...
