Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS

The lack of Predacons in Kingdom is killing me (Fossilizers don't count!). I get it though, good guys sell better and all that and there's the weaponizer gimmick to cram in. Just a shame, good guys are BORING!

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

I think I like the Cyberbeasts because they're a bit fancy and exotic, and because they don't shed chrome like glitter confetti. I love the Transmetal 2 aesthetic, but the only ones I have now are Blackarchnia and Iguanus*. All the others were starting to flake something rotten, so I sold them all o...

Re: unicron Armada, reflector and catalog brochures, promo posters

I find it funny that the Armada toy was retooled to look more like the character from the '86 Movie...when he already looked like that anyway. At least to my eyes. All the character traits are there, anyway. Beard, horns, massive wings, right colours. I remember Armada Unicron tanked over here - he ...

If you can still find, there's more than one 3P upgrade kit Neat! Might keep my eye out for one. Not essential, as I'm happy enough with the figure as it is. In new figure news: Kingdom Airrazor My my, what a beautiful figure she is. Lovely mix of plastic colours and paint to make her feel quality....

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

Beast Wars II Cyberbeasts! https://imgur.com/a/Tr1LjVR Took me the longest time to get these together. Not quite as mental as the Transmetal 2 Beast Wars figures, but I like the mish-mash of cybernetic parts with beasty-flesh. Really nice paint apps on all four of them too. I do find Max-B and Thrus...

DOTM Space Case Retool and redeco of the HFTD Terradive mold, here in translucent blue. I just really wanted on. He's sparkly blue translucent plastic and has a big pointy fork and a cross looking face. Love it. Generations Thrilling 30 Blitzwing Had it and sold it. Bought it again. I dunno, I know...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

I'd love Universe Silverbolt and the Ramulus repaint (Longhorn?). Silverbolt is an awesome awesome toy (and I like the character too). I did find too many of the Fuzors fell into the ugly-weird end of things. Airhammer and Noctorro spring instantly to mind. The mix of beasts wasn't successful in all...

Re: Is the Dreamwave run available digitally?

Pretty much. I'd quite like to read Energon again, as it was pretty decent. All my paper copies are long gone though. Always thought it was a shame that Hachette didn't get more of the G1 stuff from DW done. ALthough given how awful it turned out, maybe that's a good thing.

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Still, 79 after a triple heart by-pass 16 years ago isn't bad going. And if nothing else, I'm glad it was quick for him. If that doesn't all sound too flippant. I think it's a healthy way of looking at it. Sorry to hear anyway. Having parents who refused to give up smoking there's going to be an el...

...I'm hoping I get my jab at all. Things are not looking great on the supply front, thanks to recent scrapes and guff involving the EU, which I can't even be bothered to get into. Suffice it to say, we're still reliant on them for imports, but now there's a hold up. All of which doesn't fill me wit...

Masterpiece MP39+ Spin Out Another Diaclone homage! Having spent time playing with Cordon, I'm a lot more comfortable handling this mould now and appreciate it's cleverness and complexity. The Turbo Tuning Lambo mould looks stunning in this bright red, although the paint/plastic matching isn't so g...

Re: Latest Music Purchases.

Alright, been a while, but here's what's been making my ears bleed for the back end of 2020 and beyond. Delain 'Apocalypse & Chill' (2020), Ad Inifinitum 'Chapter I: Monarchy' (2020), Beyond The Black 'Horizons' (2020) God but I love orchestral metal. It's so loud and fast and a tiny bit silly. Thes...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

^Agreed. I love it when Transformers comes up with something fresh looking. Speaking of fresh looking, let's have a look at some money for old rope with the Platinum Edition Autobot Heroes and Planet of Junk Clash - or Studio Series 16, as I like to call them -seeing as I have them on some shelves r...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

So, some gubbins turned up this week which took the edge of my dad suddenly passing away on Tuesday :( I'm really sorry to hear that. :( No matter how old or young they are, or how expected or unexpected it was, losing a parent is never easy. Beast Wars Neo Stampy Vs Sling I have these guys! The fu...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

I opened my RiD trunk and what were the first things I came across? Only the 2003 Dinobots! https://imgur.com/gallery/LqM9UxJ Grimlock, Terranotron, Snarl, Sludge, Triceradon and Slapper. I like the Dinobotty colours on these and instantly got them out to fiddle with. Yes, my collection probably is ...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

Thank you :) He was 79. He'd had a bit of a rubbish year with his health, and had a heart attack which was unexpected. It's been a bit overwhelming, tbh. He was a Teacher and Methodist minister and a circuit one at that, so we've had so many people getting in touch :) Still, 79 after a triple heart ...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!

I love how dynamic all the Predacon Transmetals look together. So cool. Waspinator looks so jacked in his TM body. I can see why he didn't get it for the show. Hard to be the comic relief when you look AWESOME. So, some gubbins turned up this week which took the edge of my dad suddenly passing away ...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

...I should get my RiD toys out at some point. The Preds are awesome, and easily the best thing in the show, to boot. I really like Sky Byte. I think it's the colours. They just seem that much more ...sharky, I guess. I think I just like that he's more colourful than Cybershark was using the same mo...

Generations Selects Deep Cover What a lovely figure this is. As with the E-Hobby release over a decade ago, this is quite possibly my favourite set of colours on toys that look like Sideswipe. I still think the E-Hobby version is aces. I bought this as Takara never did an MP version, which I didn't...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!

@ Warcry I've always thought of Buzzsaws right arm as a freakish claw, a bit like Fuzor Quickstrike. I also have Universe Optimus Primal and he is great. I like the murky mixed up paint colours going on. And I like that you have him monkey face out. Nice. I don't have Spittor anymore, but do have Sl...
