Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
I picked up the Prime Preds last year (only one I don't have now is Grimwing) and the have that sort of ugly/ compelling charm about them. Vertebreak is my favourite too, with Riplclaw a close second. Then Beast Fire Predaking (I love it!!!). I went all in on Beast Hunters, as I really like Prime bu...

Re: Your Latest Non-TF Toy Acquisitions
Marvel Legends White Rabbit Not familiar with this character at all. One of those daft legacy characters Marvel have resurrected in recent years, like Squirrel Girl, I'm guessing. Anyway, I loved how silly the figure looked and Forbidden Planet were clearing her out for £11 so I thought 'why not?'....

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Oh, I'm sure there's problems everywhere, but you look at the impressive way Taiwan has handled this and think 'why couldn't we have done that?'. I guess dealing first hand with Sars sharpens government responses. I like that they did a huge amount to build public trust, getting people to sign up to...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
...I did the same...and then didn't care for him so much! So I've sold him. I don't know why, because I love Slugslinger's design. I guess it was a bit of retool/repaint fatigue. I think with the way some moulds get reused so frequently, figures quickly loose their 'wow' factor for me these days. Th...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
What a time to be alive, right? We're all back in National Lockdown due to our top notch handling of things. We've realised it might be idea to insist on testing before anyone comes into the country and recognised that children, though largely immune, are super spreaders, so schools are closed. The ...

Re: Remembering that our old toys actually exist!
I'll have a bash at this, seeing as all my Transformers are in fairly easy reach! I had a rummage through my bins and picked the following, which are probably the ones I've played with and been impressed by most. Power Of The Primes Predaking (2018) https://i.imgur.com/8pROUfg.jpg Predaking has been...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Earthrise Fasttrack A Christmas gift from my sister, which was nice. He's pretty cool as a robot and space tank. I'm a bit disappointed he had to follow the original pack in toy so closely. It would have been nice to get something on a par with Titans' Full Tilt, that properly Transforms. The weapo...

Generations Selects God Neptune
Haven't got around to properly playing with these. More Combiner Wars/ POTP retools, but the figures look fun and I do like a gestalt with a uniform colour palette.

Re: Boxes and boxes and boxes...
That's been my general approach, keeping the boxes for the fancy Japan stuff (well, except for MP Thrust and Prowl) and recycle everything else. I have (so far) kept the boxes for the Studio Series figures I have, as I quite like that. Does get a bit boring for the Constructicons, where all the back...

Boxes and boxes and boxes...
Having recently moved, I'm now feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have. Never seems like much when it's all tidied away nicely in a house, but in a flat with limited space? I feel like a hoarder! I've started picking through the crates of Transformers and other assorted flotsam and f...

Re: What TV shows are you watching thread.
Woo! I've been watching TV stuffs like a modern. So, I got through Preacher season 3 and am plodding through Season 4 just to get to the end now. I think overall, this show has just missed the mark entirely. I've never felt that the Jessie, Tulip and Cass have much of a relationship or care about ea...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Earthrise Runamuck On 'sale' from Amazon UK (doesn't really count as a sale, when they just reduced it to the RRP, down from their usual oddly expensive Transformers prices) during the recent Black Friday jamboree (we love American imports), so thought I'd pick him up, as the shops keep opening and...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
Where I live, we're now going into the Tier 3 of the government's restrictions. Which is a not-lockdown. You can still go to the shops, but any pubs and bars not serving substantial meals must close, no household mixing (expect for support bubbles) and groups of more than 6 aren't allowed. It's all ...

Re: POST YOUR NEWEST ACQUISITIONS!
Legends Tracks Takara version of RTS Tracks, which has a nice metallic sheen and a less mental flame tampo. Mould holds up well, although I still find getting the back of the vehicle aligned right a royal pain. Only thing I still don't like are the piddly little wings. The rather wide vehicle mode ...

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
I always imagine a bubble like one of those big things you can climb inside. Or that dreadful Jake Gyllenhaal film - something so awful I'm amazed it wasn't an Adam Sandler vehicle. Hope the cough goes soon! It tickles me watching everyone recoil when someone coughs or sneezes on a bus. At least whe...

Re: OFFICIAL TRANSFORMERS TOYS NEWS
I'm a bit puzzled by the Studio Series '86 stuff. I think it's a great idea...but some of these characters are getting concurrent releases in Siege...so I don't quite understand what Hasbro is going for. Or is it that some characters will only show up in Siege or SS '86 and vice versa? Quite like th...

Those are cool. Kre-O was alright, wasn't it? I had the Prowl set and was surprised by how decent the bricks were. Usually off-brand Lego is cack. I like The Beast!

Re: Covid 19 / everybody PANDEMIC
I am enjoying the confusing Wedding Cake system we now have (it's made up of Tiers. Or Tears, if you will). And Wales now going into a complete lockdown for 2 weeks. For me, well, I've had a funny time lately. This whole situation has put a lot of strain on my relationship with my partner, and we sp...
