Humans

Buster Witwicky

Function: Husband and Father

A young man who first met the Autobots in his late teens, Buster still has many friends in their ranks including Bumblebee and Ratchet. But he's also grown older and wiser in the time since he's seen them last, and has seen his brother die in their war. In the last few years he's married his high school sweetheart Jesse and fathered two children, which serve to change his priorities and make him question his association with the robots.

Darius Hayes

Function: Security Consultant

A former US Marine Corps staff sergeant, Hayes retired after the Decepticon attack on Earth last year. As part of Blackrock's security staff, he investigates dangerous or sensitive issues that pose a threat to Blackrock's interests. Tough as nails, as Marine sergeants are expected to be. A black man who grew up in the 1950s, he is willing to give anyone a chance -- even robots or mutants -- because he knows what it's like to be judged by what he is instead of who.

Dynamo (a.k.a. Hector Dialonzo)

Function: Labour Relations/Living Battery

Formerly of Blackrock's Neo-Knight anti-robot mutant team, Hector identifies more with fellow Mexicans than fellow mutants. After the team was disbanded, he happily accepted Blackrock's offer and become his boss's representative to the many Mexican labourers employed in Blackrock's southern plants. He considers helping illegals get their papers in order and helping the legal migrants adjust to life in the US far more heroic than his time wearing a costume.

G.B. Blackrock

Function: Industrialist

A long-time ally of the Autobots, Blackrock has benefited from his association with the aliens by getting a chance to observe their technology up close. He doesn't trust them, but he knows he's better off with them on his side than as enemies. He has been involved in many plans to minimize the damage Decepticons can cause to his corporation and his country, and has taken a lead role in the rebuilding that ensued after the attack on Earth last year.

Ga'Mede (a.k.a. Gunter Marcus Dreschler)

Function: Terrorist

A butcher for hire. Works for anyone and everyone, as long as they're fighting against the powers that be who currently rule the world. Ga'mede (a pseudonym, naturally) is a monster of a human being. It's not that he doesn't care who he hurts for his cause, it's that he relishes the harm he does and acts like he's paying the world back for his shitty upbringing. His most recent employer has been Cobra, though he doesn't even feign loyalty to them.

Maria Santos

Function: Police Officer

A young policewoman with few friends and less family. Her father died in prison after killing a man in a botched robbery. Her mother died not long after, drinking herself to death, and young Maria spent her teenage years boucing around between foster homes. She became a cop because she wanted to prove her parents were responsible for at least one good thing in their lifetimes. Buster Witwicky was one of her few friends in high school.

Rapture (a.k.a. Katrina Vesotsky)

Function: Negotiator/Psychological Warfare

A very angry young woman, Kat was a member of the Neo-Knights. After they disbanded, she was happy to take a job serving as a negotiator for Blackrock Enterprises. At first she worried that she only got the job because of her mind-control powers, but she quickly realized she didn't need to make her adversaries daydream to beat them -- they were scared of her forceful persona. She still occasionally does hero-work for Blackrock when asked, but resents it.

Thunderpunch (a.k.a. Lee Gruber)

Function: Ignorant Redneck/Brawler

A hard-drinking, hard-living roughneck, Lee is too stubborn to do much but fight. He turned down job offers from Blackrock after the Neo-Knights disbanded, knowing that he had no place in a suit and that his modest tastes could easily be met by the large salary he'd collected in his time as a superhero. He regrets his choice sometimes but only because he misses Kat. In general, he's glad he got out when he did.

Walter Barnett

Function: Military Officer

After RAAT was disbanded, Barnett happily returned to the military career he'd dedicated so much of his life to. But General Barnett isn't a popular man, and he tends to find himself assigned to dangerous or politically suicidal assignments. This is unfortunate for him, but turned out to be good for the Autobots when he was assigned to command the army troops around the ruins of San Francisco. They don't trust him, but he's a useful ally.
