Yeah, that one was classic!
One of my faves was when they went to the planet of robo apes. Scrapperton is a fantastic villian. Tick Tock!
'Circus of ooz' was weired. Sprx and Nova got a little 'wrapped up' with things there!
The final one was sad, when Antauri died, and Chiro went evil.
Then Jetix was cancelled here in Aus. Damn Channel 7!

Super Robot Monkey etc etc was a loss.
Sonic X was a bad loss. The final ep shown here was Shadow going on a rampage through the blue typhoon, later shot out of the sonic cannon ,and Cosmo turning evil! In a way.
W.I.T.C.H is no loss. So good does come out of bad.

I've never "collected" all that many different things. But have large collections of what I do

Transformers (obviously) has taken a good chunk of my cash since college. But lately I've been getting into Gundam Figures. Unfortunatly, Canada doesn't get any of the Bandai USA releases now and I missed the big surge when Wing was huge a few years ago, so it means I import just about everything. So it's slow going, though I still have..... 30 MS or so....

Well... my room's pretty much dedicated to the bots and cons of the Transformers universe... BUT.... I have a fair deal of starwars figures.. (various clones, the female jedi, BIG DARTH VADER FAN (owns vader force FX Lightsaber), Also got some of the unleashed figures... little bit of gundamn here and there... occasionally pick up dc direct/marvel legends figures.... but my other MAJOR hobby is the miniatures game known as Heroclix.

Lord, if I still that the money from all the boosters and singles I purchased over the years, hell.. I probably could own TWO overlords, TWO Deszaras, a LeoKaiser AND have cash to spare for the rest of Galaxy Force I need!

My brother collected STC back in the day and I used to have a read as well- Great stuff mostly and very obviously styled as 200AD's younger brother (Fleetway did both at the time didn't it?)- Lew Stringer did a bit of work on it as well. Adored Decap Attack- Perhaps the Sonic strips are something Titan should look into buggering up the trades of?

Nah I doubt Titan would bother with STC, I would love if they did even if it was given the usual Titan treatment as 70% my STCs are either lost destroyed or in awful condition. Decap Attack was a wonderful game too with one of the best megadrive scores ever. If they ever did give them TPBs I'm sure they wouldn't bother with the other megadrive backup strips.

|There was one about four element themed superhero's as well...

Did they ever do a strip about the game where the guy weant in a comic? That could have been nicely self referencial...

I have the game your referring to. As far as I remember they never used that. They did Kid Chameleon, the single most difficult game ever, in which a Kid gets sucked into a videogame. The also had an echo the dolphin strip, which had brilliantly rich artwork. .One of the better strips was Wonderboy. I never took to their Golden Axe strip though. Still the sonic stories are so different to the Archie continuity, following the games much more. And not everyone still loves Megadrive games as much as myself

You should meet my brother- He was playing music from the sonic games on his guitar yesterday! I remember Echo as well, gotgous stuff (and a fun game). The way Megadroid answered the letters was very like the TF letter page as well (though both are probably influenced by Tharg).

Howdy Boomers
They changed Megadroid's appearence half way through the series which I was annoyed at, the new trendy Megadroid. But I'll never forget that one strip when they gave Megadroid.

STC is still going on the internet. I posted the link previously in the thread.

Echo is another mind numbingly difficult game. Very Poignient. sad game. really makes you feel sickened when you're running out of air. Plus the way you could talk to mammals was amazing in those days. As was the cheats page in STC, in those pre-internet days. Ah yes when you could be surprised by things rather then finding out about them 10 months before it happens on the internet.

Star Wars (although, it's lost steam, since I have at least one version of each main character, and am therefore only interested in a select few of this year's toys (Scorch, Cody, and a few others that I can't think of, and can live without, but will pick up if I see)).

3 3/4 GI Joe-This is the main thrust right now. Have a few S6, but won't get many more, as I'm really only interested in a few of them. Collect the characters more than the vehicles because of space issues.

I've been waning off of tfs lately. I prolly won't pick up any G1 redux, unless they do some really cool ones. Going to mainly catch up on some of the older stuff I want (Three throttle bots and maybe 3-4 other G1 figs, some reissues, a few BW figs, some BM, and the rest of Cybertron that I'm looking at), get Decepticon Alternators and I think that's about it.

I have a small amount of MOTU I need to have all that I want, as well, but for the most part, I don't ferociously seek those.

I've collected Star Wars for 10 years and still do. Some of the newer stuff looks promising, especially the new 1/6 range.

And also some of Sideshow's other 1/6 ranges are fairly good. Picked up a few of them recently.

Ahhh, an entire games franchise made from one joke: James Bond as a fish!

I've not really played games since my brother got a TV in his room and moved all the consoles in there. N64 games were the last I really played all the way through- Ahhh, remember how making Mario walk round in a 360 degree cirlce was the most exciting thing ever?

Cool Spot! Dear God, it's like every word you say is unlocking lost memories of my dim and distant past!

Please include the words "sex" "Wild "Girls" "With" "All" "Aloud" "Once" "At" in any order in your next post- I could do with those memories back.

Oh, ands Alex Kid was the real legend.

Alex Kid was an amazing game. But Cool Spot was a mighty cool spot. Of coarse all the beat em ups have generally maintained their popularity. Pity that Dinosaur beat em up Primal Rage died out. The Megadrive, which was my console of choice sadly, made very little RPGs. But the ones they did do were fantastic i.e regular STC feature Wonder Boy and Phantasy Star online

I will never complete Kid Chameleon (101 levels, no password, no save point, hard anyway, imagine getting to level 100 and dying. Oh and at this point I'd like to mention Lemmings, Zool , Earthworm Jim,Dynamite Heady (A truly awesome game and I don’t like using that word one bit) oh god the list goes on and on, there’s many more to mention, lots of my favourites I haven't even touched up.

But for now; remember that Dalek doing all of Girls Aloud game...Resident Evil eat you're heart out...

Wasn't Cool Spot a big product placement game for some fizzy drink (I want to say Pepsi...)? A bit like that game where we learn McDonalds gives a **** about the rainforest...

Nothing runs like a Deere.

Those models are really splendid. I found some that my dad had gotten as part payment many decades ago for doing some engineering work. The details on them are amazing.

I remember cool spot too, and the Dr. Pepper commercials. Somewhere in my old baseball/hockey/other card collection I still have a cool spot card and garbage pail kid card promos from back in the 80's.

Thank ya, maam

Actually, my collection has pretty much doubled since then, but I haven't really had time to take pics of all the new stuff.

Also, I'm a huge collector of anything Dr. Doom (yeah, big surprise there) - pics below.

I enjoy collecting comicbooks (primarly DC) and as much stuff from DC Direct as possible. I also enjoy collecting old videogame systems and the library of games that accompany them. I know that the latter doesn't merit much financial worth but that's not why I collect them.

Old videogame systems are great. Intellivision was our first family console- and the D&D Treasure of Tarmin is still one of my all-time favourites.

I would LOVE to get my hands on an Intellivision and a Collecovision as well. I didn't have either when I was growing up (due to the fact that I had an Atari 2600). I loved both of those systems back in the day, they were alot more powerful than the 2600 making their games look more like their arcade cousins. The only thing I didn't like about the Intellivsion (or was it the Collecovision) was it's numeric pad controller. Even with that I still want one.

The disk below the pad actually controlled the character things... and Snafu wouldn't be half as much fun without putting in levels or # of rounds. (Nor would my father have been able to torture me with "Math Fun" - which was anything but.)
