SQUEEEEEEEE! With him, Whirl and Swerve the MTMTE love-in is looking pretty amazing. My wallet is crying actual tears.

Too much G1 goodness...while Whirl isn't what I hoped he'd be, I'd feel guilty not buying him.

Tailgate, much like Skids, is an instant buy.

Scoop leaves me indifferent.

Armada Starscream looks too...rough/unfinished. Sadly the armada brick looks better.

What kind of laughing matter is hasbro's thrilling 30 business though? The numbered releases are laughable...so number [say] 7 is SDCC Metroplex, and number [again, say]9 is HK Con Metroplex, which is the same thing!

Yeah, Shrapnel and Swoop look good and are possible buys along with Skids, Swerve and Tailgate. Lots of cool stuff.

Whirl definitely looks better there:

Official images of Whirl are on TFW tooo: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...images-178043/

Kind of worried about the feet though. The look a little weak and breakable. I'll wait for the reviews of him before I get one. Tailgate and Swerve are a must by though

Yeah, the stock photography looks correctly transformed and Whirl is all the more better for it. It's a lot more based on the G1 toy than the funky Bayformer IDW design, but it's not a bad thing. I love both Whirl designs equally.

I love the Generations line. I have the Blitzwing and Springer. Still trying to look in local stores first before having to buy Sandstorm online. I have Orion Pax and Megatron preordered. I have the original G1 Whirl, Roadbuster and Sandstorm. Will probably get the Generation versions them as well.

I'm kind of thinking they'll surprise us soon with a voyager Impactor. All the signs are there. Maybe an early/mid 2014 release.

Pure speculation:

As the toyline seems to be looking to celebrate as much of the history of the range as possible, and assuming Waspinator/Rhinox and Armada Starscream are respectively meant to represent the entire Beast and UT eras, that leaves RID and Japanese G1 as the main major bits not yet covered by Thrilling 30.

So, taking into account they're general popularity and they fact IDW have started using both of them, I wouldn't bet against Sky-Bite and Star Saber joining in early 2014.

Impactor, Sky-Byte and Star Saber would be awesome!

I'm banking on Rattrap appearing in some form, since with RID's toy-whoring tendencies and with Rattrap being shoved in at random into the comic alongside Scoop I'm taking a guess that everyone's favourite transforming rat is going to get a toy.

Hasbro's website posted some surprising new toy listings today:

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...stings-178695/

Brainstorm and Roadbuster have the potential to make me very happy. Jhiaxus will probably be based on the dreadful IDW hunchback design, though.

If true, teh awesum. Here's hoping.

EDIT: On reflection, hugely unlikely. Way, way too much product listed. Prove me wrong, world, prove me wrong!

Quite a few things potentially of interest, if new moulds.

And from the same sources: Movie #4 toy listings and Hasbro Masterpiece Sideswipe.

Interesting...hopefully it's legit.

Jhiaxus has always been a bit crap looking though.

I guess that third party Brainstorm is screwed now then? Especially if the official one keeps up the relative high standards of the other IDW comic based toys we've had this year (and comes with a briefcase).

There are actually three third party homages; one already released, one due about now...

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...-works-178198/

Fansproject appears to have the intention of doing a full set of Headmasters-type releases, so I don't think it'll hurt them too much.

MMC might not bother now, though.

The two that caught my eye are Roadbuster and Arcee.

Roadbuster makes a certain amount of sense with Springer and Whirl getting new toys (although Whirl is still on the way). Might as well do him as well.

Arcee I'm curious about. Is this going to be another bike Arcee, or are we going to get the disgustingly pink and white future car that she was but never got made into a toy?

Thoughts on this whole matter;

Movie toys sound promising. Looks like a full cast, distributed among all size classes. Dinobots can be either cars that turn into dinosaurs, or actual dinosaurs that turn into robots. We'll wait and see. Still no leader decepticon.

Generations; they really do like the Wreckers, don't they. All we need is a decent Impactor and possibly a Rack N Ruin and we've got everybody! Looking forward to seeing Brainstorm and Hardhead-they should be close to their comic book selves. Jhiaxus is great too-whichever way they go. Chromia stinks of a repainted Arcee.

Wouldn't put too much faith on LDR Megatron and Jetfire, logic points to these listings being of Hasbro Asia, which in turn points to them being ROTF fancy repaints.

No comment on MP Sideswipe as it looks like another hasbro asia listing.

Lots of predictable listings in the Age of Extinction line. Looking forward to seeing the designs!

Classics-style listings also are looking interesting.

Just saw those listings on Seibertron. Heck, I'm so excited.

Via TFW and the Collectors Club, we've got a picture of Generations Rattrap:

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...vealed-178911/

Looks like a pretty great robot mode at least, though I'm not a fan of the transparent weapon at all. I've been very impressed with all three of the Generations BW molds we've seen so far, far moreso than the last few waves of G1 or IDW-based toys (which have been very hit-or-miss for me) or the FoC figures (which were almost uniformly awful).
