Bumblebee: MOSC or loose?

Post by Treadshot A1 »

I got an 08 camaro concept BB about a month ago(when people still forked over $60 for him. Now that the prices have died down, should i keep him sealed?

I keep hearing that he's a great figure, but i'm waiting for either the TARGET Evolution of a Hero pack or the movie scenes pack.

Please, i need some help on deciding if i should open the figure.

P.S. I got him in a store for $30 AU, when everyone else was paying the scalpers!

There are still millions of the things out there, and a fair number will have the idea of trying to create collectibles by keeping stuff sealed.

Hang onto it and hope there's a difference between it and the Bumblebee released to tie-in with the next movie?

I hoping that they try for a new gimmick on the next movie line, as well with Automorph.

I know I'm not Denyer (I think not) but there has been numerous answers to that there will be (Dreamworks did Green Light it)... but it's not going to make it's planned date due to the writer's strike (see News Forum)

Anything really, just to make the figures stand out from the previous line. Light-up features, Battle-Mask Heads, Non-Movie/G1 Characters in the movie style (Still hoping for a new Rattap. Make it happen Hasbro!)

Rattrap? Hasbro's not going to do him. Look, i've got nothing against rattrap, but hasbro hasn't made a rattrap since the beast wars 20th anniversary. I doubt there will be a beast TF for the next series/movie, seeing as the movie and classics line don't have beasts(barring CLA Grimlock)

And the dinobot minicons. And the dragon minicon. And the wolf/tiger/eagle minicons. And Scorponox (to you, Mr. Bay).

Whats with the latest batch of newbies being so snappy and all? :(

Anyways back on topic, I'd open it if it were mine. I don't see the point in keeping a Transformer in the package if you are a collector who likes the toys. If you are someone who only collects them thinking that they are an investment to sale at a later date, then by all means keep it MOSC.

And to be honest a character named Rattrap would be no more far fetched than any of the others, as it has already been pointed out. After all Scorponok was a BW character as well. And in all honesty I think a BW movie would be a great idea, but unlikely to happen.

Quite how else you'd claim that your criteria exclude a figure from a line I don't know - Minicons or not, they're beasts from the Classics line. So back off with the 'tude, please.

Well, sorry ,Cliffy, but i really don't keep track of minicons. Well except for armada. Then again, armada was so crap that i didn't pay much attention to the minicons there, either.

And I haven't kept track of any line since RiD. What I don't do is go around saying things like "seeing as Energon and Cybertron don't have any cars in them", then getting tetchy when somoene politely corrects me. I repeat, drop the attitude.

When you say battle-mask heads, do you mean something like CLA Jetfire?
