Color guide for Armada Tidal Wave...

BTW, the Optimus Prime and Evac designs are signed with "Eric J. Siebenaler". Appears to be a cool guy, or so I've heard.

Wonder where they got the inspiration for the first Signal Flare design . . .

Note that Prime, Evac, and Tidal Wave have been signed by Eric J. Siebenaler, Hasbro's current mainline designer. He seems to be a really cool guy.

Could the head sketch by Eric be Energon Omega Supreme... the visory thing gives me that vibe despite it not being able to flip up like that on the toy.

Energon Beachcomber concept art.

You can actually follow the toy from the first idea through detailed schematics through the first prototype to the finished toy!
