The same thing happened to me in reverse a little while ago. It was snowing hard on Sunday, by Monday, you couldn't wear a jacket outside without burning up.

According to the Met Office website, there will be severe weather throughout the UK within the next few hours - except where I live. For some strange reason, there's this strip of 'no weather warnings' right across the Midlands.

In actual fact, I've known the entire country to have snow, hail, blizzards etc and Leicester gets blazing sunshine. I've seen spooked out drivers, with melting snow on their cars, having to put down the sun-visor.

Mind, it's pretty black over Bill's mother's out there right now. Best stop working (hem, hem) and go home.

Yep, it's doing the same thing here in Pennsylvania. It was really hot yesterday and now, it's snow, sleet, and a pinch of mixed rain.

Yup. One of my friends from Jersey mentioned that, as well as one of my friends, studying in London.

We got about 20 inches here. Stupid snow.

Didn't get a lot, but it was enough that I didn't feel like doing laundry tonight. The grey sky didn't help, either. I have enough clothes to last until Wednesday, so I'll do it, then.

I can confirm that the 'frozen north' of England did, last night, receive a WHOLE cup full of snow fall.

Can you prove that?

(I have this image of someone standing out in the back garden with a small coffee cup in hand, a nice warm coat on and fluffy slippers with bunny ears. Sorry.)
