[UK] Free sticker album in with the Beano!

Post by Cliffjumper »

The Merlin Transformers sticker collection's out tomorrow, but there's a free album (and four stickers) in with today's Beano, which at 85p will be cheaper than the regular album, not to mention you get a copy of the beano with it.

I question the reliability of your source.

More seriously cool (though I wouldn't be suprised if the Titan comic winds up giving this away as well, same as about three different titles gave away the recent Who album...)

We'd heard that about you.

I've probably got 150-200 Beano comics at my folk's house.

We usually buy the Beano every week, in any case, so I was aware of this (having had relevant advert page practically whanged in my face by the Scraplets).

I was, frankly, a bit of a Cor! in my Halcyon days.

I can now confirm the source.

The one I liked getting the Annual of as a Kid had a few Lew Stringer strips in it... Errrr, Beezer? All the Beano/Dandy wannabees had crap names didn't they?

Don't forget the Topper!

Mind you, I was forced - positively forced, I say! - to read Daisy, which was considered a suitable magazine for young ladies. Since I wasn't a young lady, I soon managed to get out of that, I'll tell you, for much better fare e.g. Thor, X-Men etc. against which even the Beano and Dandy paled.

By-the-way, there is also a free TF sticker album in this week's Dandy, apparently, if that's your poison. Oh, and the latest Doctor Who has a promotional 50p off at the till in W H Smith's.

But is that the lattest Doctor Who Adventures, Doctor Who Magazine, or Doctor Who: Battles In Time?

With Torchwood Magazine coming we may have one to many Who mags (all from different publishers as well).

Dalek - Adventures.

(These darn magazines are proliferating like X-titles.)
