Thundercats : Dogs of War... [possible spoilers?]

Post by StoneCold Skywarp »

This is the latest in the Thundercats mini-series (I don't count the cross-over with Battle of the Planets, I never read it - don't intend to either) and is set in the future.

Artwork's nothing short of awesome again, story for this issue leaves a little to be desired, but it's nice to see that there's a running plot through all three mini's there has been so far. This one looks like it could be all out war from iss #2 onwards, here's hoping..

It's nice to know that it isn't gonna be Thundercats vs. Mumm-Ra every single story too. Although I wish the Lunatics could be made into a big threat, I liked them...

Yeah, but with the return of Wilykit you know that Mumm-Ra's not going to be far behind...

I think they ought to let that plot rest a bit until the next mini. It'd be nice to see if they can pull off a story without Mumm-Ra...

It will indeed be interesting to see how this story pans out...I'm hoping for a mass-scale war...

Lion-O really needs to learn to shave too.... ;)

I like the beard! I do wonder about him as an aged monarch though. It doesn't seem like a roll that they'd keep him in. It's interesting but I think they'll cop-out and de-age him at some point so he can be the young hero again. Here's hoping they don't...

Makes you wonder how old they're trying to portray him as...

Jaga never 'aged' that much and he was supposed to be a Thundercat 'elder'

And it's not so much a beard as full facial hair!
