Update on possible Sony "G1" DVDs

Sources say parent company Sony BMG Music Entertainment is shuttering the label to focus on its core music business.

So someone might release 'em sometime... but if you're in any rush, those Chinese complete box sets on eBay might be a safer bet.

I suspect they'll try and sub-contract at some point this year, just to try and take maximum advantage of any Movie influenced sales.

i don't know what to make of that. I'm just glad i got the whole rhino set. I was looking forward to a new release if it was going to contain more extras.

thats too bad.. i was looking forward to it... i have the rhino releases but i still would have gotten the updated as well...
