I somehow don't think we're really gonna know the true name of the RX-8 until someone sees pics in box.

What year is the Jeep Wrangler model that Hound is based off of, because for Swindle it says 2003. They'll probably give him a slight remold, like they did with Silverstreak compared to Smokescreen.

the Wrangler as Swindle? nice... I wonder if they'll go with the brown colour, or do him up as a military vehicle (with a mounted machine gun or something on the back?)? either way, I guess this means he'll be the first decepticon alt/bt ?

So the Dodge Viper I guess is gonna get repainted black and called "Blackstreaker" instead of "Sunstreaker"?

To be honest, between "Camshaft" and the fact they don't know Tracks' name, I'll be taking that list with a pinch of salt.

And it was official through the Transformers.com website that The RX-8 is going to be called "Meister" though possibly the other one listed is going to be Camshaft.

I'll agree on "with a grain of salt"

I'm curious as to the "Sources" - could they be the same one that said that the next reissue is going to be "Grimlock".

They should make swindle and make him a battle ready Hummer just like the army uses. .....if they do a jeep then i will be a lil disappointed in them ...after all its the purpose of updating and the military uses hum-vee's now instead of jeeps

As seen on our own news page - Hasbro released that the the "blackstreaker" is Dead End. So 5 wrong and one obvious one. I haven't heard of Hasbro dealing with Ford though (though I wouldn't mind seeing a mustang or a Thunderbird)

Certain rumors support the "Swindle" remold of Hound thingie. He's probably going to be a Jeep Wranger Rubicon.

Additionally, Jon Hartman just reported at TFW2005 that Wal*Mart computers list the following:

I think if they can get a Mazda and a Mustang, they can get a Jaguar, too. And the Jaguar will be a Decepticon...But what happens to the European cars?

I dunno. Maybe it's because the Alternators are meant to be both toys that Hasbro can sell and advertisements for the cars they're based on? And the presumption of the European car companies like Renault or Volkswagen probably is that Europeans won't buy as many Alternators as Americans, hence the advertising wouldn't pay off as well for them as it will for the American car companies. So therefore, the European car companies didn't offer Hasbro licenses to make Alternators based on their models.

Well, Daimler is "semi-American" now (Daimler-Chrysler), so maybe we'll get a Mercedes Alternator...

I mean Alternators needs an European toy producer to make the deals with the European car makers.
The powers of the branches are maybe not enough...
