You haven't read the rest of the crossover then I take it. Between this ange Megatron: Wank it's been a bit of a lean few months for TF comics (even the couple of Spotlights since Escalation have only been average).

The whole series has been utter....well....rubbish to put it mildly. The artwork is almost as bad as Dreamweave's Micromasters run, and thats saying something. And who decided that Jazz was communications? When has that ever been hinted at? I'm blind with rage!
Thanks to StoneCold Skywarp for the Sig

I think this and Megatron are both cunning attempts to make us never ask for anyone other than Furman to write the comic.

Look, they've just got to wait for Bob Budiansky to "get the feel" of comics agin by filling up the toner and fetching the coffee, and then he'll be able to take over from these toasters.

Now all the Furminator needs to do is build that chronosphere and go back and erase Spotlight:Kup. "The balance of power will be shifted, perhaps irrevocably".

But he's now changed sides three times! He's come over as nothing but a spanner in this Zeeks.
Yup, he screwed up there didn't he? "Hmmm, he's an artist not a writter. Bound to be cack. Soon all the fans will love only me again BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"Now all the Furminator needs to do is build that chronosphere and go back and erase Spotlight:Kup.

But he never had a side to begin with, Bro. Doom has loyalty to no one but himself. He takes bits and pieces of what make up the individual sides, molds them with his own point of view, and wallah- the ego has landed.
True, I can definitely see the spanner as far as his involvement is concerned, but hey......I take what I can get.

What about his mum? Or does that sound less hardcore?
"Doom has no loyalty to anyone. Apart from his mother. And the Citizens of Latveria".
That he has loyalty (and other "good guy" traits) are what makes Doom something other than a generic Marvel villain.

Point taken.
As always, you are correct, Sir Cliffjumper.
I guess my gut reaction was that Doom's alliances have always been self-serving, whether it was Namor or the Autobots/Decepticons. He's not in it for any type of "greater good" but to possibly protect/strengthen/enlarge his own assets.
