- Grimlock will be silver.

- Hasbro have not attempted to obtain a license for a Mini Cooper yet (although they didn't exclude that they might still try to do so in the foreseeable future).

- Hasbro are still hoping to obtain a license from Volkswagen sooner or later.

- Hasbro confirmed that they already have some new protos for new Alternators in the works, but are still waiting to get the respective licenses.

Regarding the Mini, this could be Hasbro ping-pong again (remember "Tracks WILL be yellow"?).

I hope that the sword in Grimlock's picture is not the finished one. That thing sucks horribly. He'll stand without it on my shelf if that's what it looks like.

I wouldn't call it "Hasbro Ping-Pong" at this stage. They claim not to have contacted Mini but may in the future. There's no real ping-pong there, in my opinion. It's pretty cut and dry.

And Tracks is Yellow. Just because they didn't say "Oh, well see, there's going to be a blue one, too..." doesn't mean that they weren't planning it all along. I think it was kinda funny having the pics of the blue one released so late. It made the "Hasblow" guys look like asses.

Good for them. Maybe not about being honest as to why, but I prefer him being blue anyway. Looks better on a corvette.

If it had to have been a normal Corvette color for that particular model, the red would have worked out just as well. But yeah, blue works.

Come to think of it, wasn't there an opaque yellow prototype? Just some food for thought.

EDIT: Swindle's gonna be yellow, inn'e. Interesting that the yellow's not too transparent for that, huh?
