From the Allspark:
John Barber takes over editorial duties of Transformers.
This is almost certainly good news, for those keeping track of things like 'news' as it relates to Transformer comics. The handle that Barber had on the movie comics was noteworthy and his prose stuff in the back of the movie adaptation comics was a fun read.
John Barber is IDW's new editor on Transformers

If he is the opposite of Schmidt he'd surely be Editorimus Prime?
No, wait, sorry:
EDITORIMUS PRIME.
There, that's better. None of the DOTM comics sounded much better than previous efforts in synopsis (though I have the advantage of actually knowing what is actually in the film, something IDW never seem to have bothered with. Which wouldn't be so bad if the first two hadn't been out for a few years now. Come on guys, they're on DVD! You could even tape them off the telly next time they're on).
