Improving Jizaitoys Cyclonus

Post by ptitvite »

Many of you already know that Jizaitoys Cyclonus is a great work of art... :)
Many of you already know he also has loose joint problems, falling legs (balljoints fall out of sockets)...
The pegs on his shoulders don't hold the arms well enough...they fall.
Many have paid a fortune for this guy.
I wanted the toon version and settled for the metallic version due to unavailability :eyebrow:
But what I mostly wanted was to fix this guy and bring out the best out of this wonder

Balljoints are from Classics Megs tank
Balljoints sockets are from Hobby Link Japan
Paints are from WalMart

I'm aiming to something in between the Metallic version and the toon color scheme.

Notice the knee caps on the metallic version...upside down :wtf ...

When did this fellow come out? I've not actually seen it before.

I've been wanting to try an articulation project for a while now. I may go kill a Classics Megatron for parts too :)

I remember they had a website. If I find it, I'll hand it over.

How many Classics Megatrons do you have? I've been looking for one for forever.

This is a modified Jizaitoys Cyclonus..You can see the original here
But you won't find the original under 300$ but you won't find any...I've waited.

You can find the Metallic version on ebay by seller pompomnet.
The metallic version is a repaint of the original and sells for 185$ on ebay.

As for the classics Megatron he is still available on ebay... or check the forums and get a used one. ;)
