Anyone remember Reboot?

Post by Bombshell »

It was made by the same guys who made Beast Wars/Beast Machines, and even featured some of the same voice guys.

I actually thought it was a good show, much like TF in a way, what with the first two seasons setting up the characters and the third season being more dark and action oriented. It even copied TF in the way that the main hero [Bob] got sent off, so that the young here [Enzo] took over.

They even made two TV Movies about it, which were good as well, but also left it open for new episodes or another TV movie that might not get made.

And for those of us in Canada, it's on at 8:30pm (figure out the time zones yourself) on Monday-Wendsdays. :)

I used to watch it in the first few seasons when every episode was about Bob playing one of the 'games' and eventually winning. I kinda stopped watching it, but saw a couple of episodes that had Enzo as an adult.

You should watch it next week, man. Tonight's ep was the first part of the second movie, "My Two Bobs".

I remember Reboot. Sadly it came at a time I was too "mature" for cartoons and didn't watch it all.

I used to be Hardcore into that show but alas we all grow older at one point and I just didn't have much time to watch it anymore. I saw a few of the ones where Enzo was a big boy, and they seemed pretty good, a little darker than what the series had been.

One could almost draw a comparrison between Bob/Optimus passing leadership onto Enzo/Rodimus although it would probably fall short as Enzo wasn't a whinny, insecure brat. ;)

Reboot was a godly show. The first 2 seasons were good, but the 3rd season made it one of the best cartoons of all time. Unfortunately I have yet to see the movies; hopefully they'll put them on dvd like they did for season 3.

Including season 4, which features Daemon :) You know, the virus who has taken control of 99% of the Guardians(and just about the entire net)

They stopped Reboot here in Holland right after that final episode with the musical recap of season 3.

I was always trying to figure out where the cameo's in the eps came from.

For episode 1 of season 4 it was AUSTIN POWERS.

Matrix took aim, Austin: "Karma don't fail me now"
Game over, user loses :)

They really should have done a Transformers cameo :) And no I don't consider the episode "Nullzilla" to count(that one's a powerrangers ish)

My brother and I watched Reboot when it was on Toonami. It was a pretty good show. Sadly it was cancelled along with another of my faves, Ronin Warriors.

I used to watch that show all the time. That was long ago, and the only thing I can remember is the neat computer-like stuff.

Megabyte was one of the best cartoon villans that I had seen in a long time. Reboot was a good show.
