Hrrrrm. More temporal displacement, hints of more "too large cast"... I hope this won't be as flat out boring as "The Gathering", but I fear otherwise.

Also, "Lio Convoy". I'm sure this will piss off some people who hate any name that contains the term "Convoy" and prefer calling the name "Leo Prime" as per the Classics Legends toy. ;)
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

I am more concerned about a certain plot device making its appearance. :(

I actually found the appeareance of Unicron interesting. I'm curious as to what they are implying there. Is he talking about 2005, or is the "death agonies" something in the future? It seems like he's implying that some way, some how, Unicron ultimately wins. Interesting.

But who's the character in silhouette? Is that supposed to be Trantulus?

Prowl is an Owl? That rocks.

Shame they couldn't have tried to make Cybertron look like it has a population bigger than the toy cast in the flash forwards...

In the IDW universe, I think that Unicron is like Satan. He might keep himself in the background but his invisible psychic tendrils reach out everywhere and encourage evil things to happen.

I liked the Gathering. It wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it. It was far better than Infiltration, due to Things Actually Happening.

My best guess is Shokaract.

Yes, I agree.

The Ascending looks well worth the read, although we have Magmatron reprising a ghost role as narrator.

"I'm out of time. Literally." :o

Looks like we're (again) getting a mini-series more like fantasy story with irritating plotdevices instead of a serious(ish) sci-fi stroyline. Disappointing.

It would also explain the Unicron imposition.

Or maybe it's just arbitrary melodramatic portents to illustrate the fact that he's back and forth through time. Yay for teh cheep drarmar.
