I like the price for US retail. But Australia, that would probably work out to roughly... (now add exorbinant profit margins, carry the one, and compare against Unicron)... A$200.
Unicron went for ~US$50-$60 or something like that and worked out to A$130-$150. Seeing that OP has always been purchased by collectors in whatever form he took, that means that Hasbro can possibly add a bit more to the RRP, seeing that most collectors will buy it, and get the money however they can.
Oh well, can always find out the real price in Jan(US) or February (AU probably as a TRU exclusive)

Fair play to them, that's a good price if it still includes the metal. Bear in mind that the Alternators aren't the same; this may also not be.
What makes the US Alternators different than the Takara ones? Do they not have metal? If the Hasbro ones are just plastic I'll definitely have to stick with the Takara releases.
