Hmm. Since when do they get Japanese stuff early? I thought they only got Hasbro test shots and upcoming releases in packaging?

Did Takara now also lower their security?

Why do you sound so surprised. Looks like most Asian countries seem to get these new released TFs from Japan before the U.S./Europe. I know for sure Hong Kong is usually one of the earlier ones and that's just another state of China. Can easily be sent over to the mainland.

Judging from Binaltech experience, new Takara toys are released the same day in both Japan and Hong Kong. There is no "early release", aside from special occasions such as the official BT Meister debut.
New Hasbro toys, however, are usually available in Hong Kong about a month before they arrive at US stores.

I will definently be getting two of these. Energon cubes are a nice touch. And if only energon figures could have translucent plastic which weren't so garish, much like the insecticons. We do need to see more decepticon reissues. This is a far beter set than the minibots. Now what about the tapes.

Instead of getting two of these, how about the e-Hobby exclusive Clone Army in Diaclone colors instead?

I have been considering them, if the price is right. Not overly keen on the colours, but they are diaclone colours apparently. I wonder if they will squeeze them in their standad size box or use a new box shape.

I'd recommend the originals. They're much cheaper than you'll get these. I was able to get all three with weapons in very good condition for $15, then, I got all three in a lot of tfs (only Kickback had a gun), and I picked up another Bombshell at a convention for about $5. Just look around ebay. They're usually common as dirt.

Clone army's nice. If I had a job, I might pick them up (that is, unless I could find the diaclones for cheaper . . . ).

yea they are pretty cheap on ebay as individuals. However shipping is always a b*tch when you buy sets like that seperately.

Depends on where you get it shipped to. I bought all three in one hit, and got them shipped for only about $5.

Try searching for "insecticon lot" on ebay.
