TF:TM on fast server for today only

Post by TFArchive »

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that for today only Transformers: The Movie will be available on my super fast dedicated server. I have some spare bandwidth for this month, so I'll burn it off on the hardest thing to get from my site.

Enjoy

Also, let me know what kind of speeds you get, I want to see what this server can really do :)

Using a download manager called NetVampire and having a moderately fast cable connection myself, it's swinging between 35 and 45 kb/s. Not bad. :)

I have T3 access in my dorm, so I have the potential of hundreds of kb per second.

Hmm, guess I just had bad luck then... Of course, maybe the fact that AudioGalaxy and KaZaA were running at the same time might explain a few things about why the speed was this low. ;)

I have actually set my own personal download record off of TFarchive.

Back when you had the single episode in 5 meg RAR chunks, I got one of the machines here in EIU's lab to download 4 of them (at once) at 120 K/sec each. It was wonderful.

I don't do that anymore, which I'm sure you're glad to hear, and it hasn't been as fast since, though that has to do with the university's inability to keep up with the traffic morpheus and kazaa have created...

Someday, 500 K/sec will be breached! I will be victorious!!!

No, it is just the fact that Chello sucks.
