Movie Leader Class Megatron

Post by zigzagger »

A slew of images of Movie Leader Class Megatron are up tfw2005 for viewing.

The 'bot mode is passable. It resembles its movie counterpart well enough - minus the random light blue and pink details, that is.

The alternate mode....huh, yeah. Interesting.

What is it? ;)

Well up for that!

Are those blasting hands there (albeit manual - or a nod to G1 Megs mourning star?)? Very Patlabor!

Time marches on, and these guys get closer...

Funny thing, time, when you're in the middle of nowhere for 10 day blocks sitting on inaccessible hills watching birds... But, hey, mad as that is, it pays!

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

Is this going to be the exspensive leader class?! The plastic looks pretty average to me, could do with a lot more chrome colouring to look like the Movie character

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. A good example of that was in one the recent trailers; he's a dull gray, mixed with chrome, and a faint gold tone. Something more along these lines (below), I feel, would be a bit easier on the eyes.

Though, I suppose the random baby-blue and pink details are an attempt to make the figure appear less plain.

It's hard to pick between your recolor and the actual item....

Though, I'd have to pick the original. You're right, breaks up the dullness of that color scheme. Shouldn't be neon bright though...ech.

I am so buying this.

But, BUT, it will be getting a touch up paint job.

cool figure, and the cyb jet mode is cool to me because of the prequel comics. They sold me on the protoform toys and Megs.
Come on and wind me up.

Everywhere I went had everyone except Megatron, Starscream, and Ironhide.

Blackout suffers from the same problem as Bumblebee though...automorph is causing all sorts of problems. I can't get him to close up properly in alt mode.

I really hate automorph. :\

Alternative mode = homage to RiD, anyone?

Probably give him a miss unless I come into money...
