Movie Protoforms out in UK

Post by Neuronutter »

I went in my local TRU in Cardiff bay this morning and much to my amazement I found the Movie Protoforms of Starscream and Optimus Prime. I didn't get them as they don't interest me and I didn't have my camera so I couldn't photo them but they are out! They are also out on the TRU UK website!

I saw loads of them yesterday at a German TRU store.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Is that the last official death toll for the Alternators then?

Is anyone here actually planning on buying these flying turds disguised as Transformers? I won't be and was wondering if anyone at all is.

I plan on getting them both, they seem decent enough, and the idea is novel.

Does the £10 price tag still stand?

$9.99 = about £5.

Another bloody rip off...

I will probably, as I noted before, pick up Screamer for the sheer novelty value and the fact (which Hasbro are no doubt relying on) that it is a version of Screamer. Prime is a maybe, just to have the pair.

If anyone finds out that they can get hold of the protoforms for a reasonable sum less than a tenner, please let us know where! ;)

I'll be on a lookout, though I've to find them myself first.

Meh. If I find the time, I'll pop up to our TRU. It's only 10 minutes away, but I'm very busy at the moment trying to work at two offices practically simultaneously without the benefit of cloning technology.... (transfer request put in today  )

I'm one of the few who like them...I bought the Starscream and love the figure for the nifty articulation and groovy alt mode. I think the prequel comic helped though..before seeing the protoforms in there I wasn't really all that interested. Well worth the measly $9.99 asking price in my book.
