So there we go, confirmation Milne was involved in the DW cock up. Which makes his recent work with Pat Lee all the dafter.FM – What’s it like working for IDW as opposed to your time with Dreamwave?
Alex - They pay me on time. They pay me period. Big difference.

FM – Thanks Eric, Alex. One last thing, Alex - can we just inspect your wallet?
Alex - Sure. Here you go officer, I think you'll find everything's in order.
Fractal Matter legs it out the building with Alex Milne's wallet, yelling "I can't believe that worked!"
Alex - Damn, fifth time this week. Still, no use dwelling on it, I'd best get home, Pat Lee's sending me some more work...

According to this he was owed over $4000 when Dreamwave went bust.

No wonder he's not that bothered about holding onto his wallet, there's nothing in it.

Back on topic before Denyer shoots me in the face, I'm still not sure what to expect from the mini... Though the Spotlights I'm read have convinced me that quasi-"solo" TF stories can work, not sure if four issues of bucket-head is that tempting...
And damn, the forever-delayed 5th issue of WWTF is going to be even later now IDW employees are literally saying "We're not Pat Lee" as a selling point.

What worries me is, without going into spoilery details, I've found him less and less impressive and more and more stupid as Escalation has gone on. Hopefully this will reverse the trend rather than cermenting it.

SPOILER! (select to read)Don't be a **** all your life. ~SCSW~This is going to be about Escalation #6 again, isn't it? YES, his defeat was VERY rushed by Simon Furman. YES, it was cliched and EXACTLY the same way Thunderwing was beaten (Although I think that was intentional) BUT: He nearly killed Prime. He shrugged off EVERYTHING the Autobots chucked at him. He turned a tiny dispute into an event that could have kicked off a full blown war. He has a clone positioned to become president of the united states (As if Republicans weren't evil enough, now they're controlled by giant invading robots). I'd say he's still the best version of Megatron we've ever had. Hoping he sticks around and DEFINETLY buying the orgin story. And it isn't going to be JUST Megatron, it'll also feature major Decepticons. So hopefully, we'll see some more of Starscream (As long as he never ONCE attempts a ridiculous plan to take control of the Decepticons during this mini I'll be happy) Shockwave and probably Soundwave. As this is set before the Great War it'll be interesting to also see f their were any other Primes before Optimus in this series, or if Optimus is the first to carry that name.

Yes, again. I know, I'm obsessed like a crazy guy having mentioned it exactly... twice in the week since it came out (well, three times including the post |I've made in the E6 thread since then). And only once outside of it's thread. Oh what a crazy banging-on-about-Escalation-6 kinda guy I am. And the increased flaws I find in Megatrons character have been bugging me through the last few issues, not just there.
