20MB limit on the DC Hub?
20MB limit on the DC Hub?
When did this happen? I was on it yesterday and there wasn't a share limit.
I moved a 31MB file (The Openning to Final Fantasy VIII) into my shared folder and its still kicking me out. Whats up with that?

THE HORROR!!
Its only 20 mb, stop complaining.
Then why does it keep kicking me out even though I've provided the 20MBs needed?

Does it say, you have not met the specified minimum share, or cant you even connect to the hub?
It connects, then kicks me out with a message saying that I haven't provided the 20MB.
There's a 31 MB file in the folder now to satisfy that requirement. But its still not letting me in.

Well, common sense would say just share a CD worth of popular episodes... no-one who isn't a complete git is going to leech off a modem user when there are more amenable cable users.
The limit has, to the best of my knowledge, always been there. Also, there may be a minimum number of files, to prevent leechers doing what you're trying to...

I dont think such limit exists, unless someone made a script for it, and I doubt anyone has. If he keeps getting kicked then you need to refresh your list so the hub sees the new file.

At any time that you were getting kicked, did you restart DC and come back on?
Yes I did. I even closed the program and reopened it.

For one thing I was sharing all the episodes I had while I downloaded others. But recently my Hard Drive got full so I had to transfer them all to CD Rs to clear out my HD. So I wasn't trying to leach. I'm willing to share, its just that my HD can't handle soo many of them.
P.S. this is my 200th post.

Uh, A simple yes wouldve been ok, restarting dc = closed and reopened. The things you are downloading currently wont show up in your shared list, therefore you need to update it. Right click in the upload window and select the option to update your list.Originally posted by LigerZero
