Iron Man is awesome [non-spoiler discussion]

Post by Sir Auros »

It's not another Daredevil, it's Spiderman or X-Men 2. Possibly even better. My only complaint was that it was too short.

I hissed "awesome," when the guy said, "Just call us S.H.E.I.L.D., but I had a nerdgasm when I saw the clip after the credits. I can't wait to see who's going to play Thor, and I hope they go with the Ultimates costume.

Friendly reminder for people to use the spoiler tag.

Seriously, you put some brackets around the word "spoiler."

Sorry about that, Kali. I forget sometimes how full of fail some of the newbs are when it comes to the intarwebs.

Hey, no reason to apologize dude. Now an apology from rattrap23 would be nice....

Back on topic though, I'm really wanting to see this movie. I'm afraid I most likely won't get to till it hits DVD though, as its hard going to the movies with my daughter at her current age. She is just about to turn 2 this June and she won't sit still more than 5 minutes. I managed to make it halfway through Horton Hears A Who before she wanted to run around the theater, since then I'll just as well assume the wait.

Are there lots of explosions? I really enjoy explosions. Made Transformers so much sweeter when it came out.

I reckon I should apologize too. Should have thought ahead that making a joke of the unspoilered secret only unspoilers it more. Thanks for fixing it for us SA.

I saw it last night. I loveloveloveloveloved it.

It is chock full to the brim of awesome and brilliant.

Absolutely goddamn superb.

Just make sure you stay till the end. It's well worth it.

I actually cottoned onto the acronym the first time the guy said the full name, so was a little disappointed when he went with the abbreviation later. I was like "awh, you had to go and spell it out for them... was cooler beforehand", but then it goes and gets paid off bigtime later. That was perhaps the most fantastically nerdcore kewl thing ever. However I see a long and tiring future of having to explain to non-Ultimates readers exactly why.

I'm thinking of begging and bribing my mother in law to watch the children tonight so I can see this, but something tells me it will not work. :nonono:

I loved it as well! Fast paced 2 hr movie. I didn't stay for the end credits. Can someone tell me what happened with spoiler tags?
