True, but when did "inevitable" translate into "six months down the road when the original versions are still available in mass quantities everywhere you bloody well look?"

I agree on the recolour comments. Not worth the money if you've already got the origonals. But this looks to have had some retooling. I think it should be accepted as a new character (hopefully Grapple). They did the same with G1 Inferno and Grapple (and a lot of the others) so why not as long as its not the same (identical) figure/character.

Colour scheme is a bit hit and miss though.

It would be cool if it were a better shade of yellow. I'm ok with the repaints as long as they are different characters. Ala, smokescreen, prowl, and bluestreak from G1.

Actually, the line's pretty much almost over, since it was only supposed to have 29 eps on tv.

Just wish it weren't so dang ugly.

I don't understand why the name Hasbro chooses to slap on the box determines whether or not certain people buy the figure. If this turns out to be a new version of Inferno, but you like the figure, you could always give it a different name and treat it as a separate character. Who cares what name is on the packaging? Call it whatever you want.

Care to point out a source? Every episode count I've seen for Superlink says there's to be 52 episodes.

Aside from the fact that this is a repaint (and from what i understand all repaints are EVIL) i actually like this new guy. I'm betting that they will introduce him in the show as an upgrade to Inferno.

I like the toys to be and actual character and not some repaint just for the sake of repainting. Like treadbolt, that I thought was stupid. I like the idead of inferno being repainted because he has a good possibility of being a new character. Now in terms of the toy its self, I am still going to get it.

Its a remold in that it has new parts, a repaint is new colours and I always thought Inferno was the new incarnation of Sokescreen and Hoist, the face fits.
I reckon they should supersize Scorponok (To Optimus and US Megatron proportions), remold his head and give him a energon staff call him Dark Zarak. Andgive Megatron G1 movie Galvatron colours make his tank a G1 Galvatron cannon mode but its unlikely to happen. However I did once mention Inferno being remolded as grapple like the G1 figure... spooky.

Not all repaints are evil. There are some out there that are just fine (I prefer Universe Skywarp to every other version of that mold I've had). However, once you're on your tenth BW Dinobot repaint, you start to wonder if maybe there's not just a hint of overkill.

They may have added a few eps down the line. This was the count from when it was first planned. They prolly only had 29 that were written or something. This is good news.

I like "Grapple".
It makes sense since, you know, considering how Hasbro decided to follow trend with the Decepticon jets, they might as well do the same with the Autobots.
I'm pretty sure Towline will be blatantly abused to make remolds of Ratchet and Ironhide {G1}.
