G1 deco Movie STarscreamn in packaging; Thundercracker in European packaging

Post by Nevermore »

We saw both toys lose before - here they are in packaging. Also the first confirmation for the Ratchet redeco's name: Rescue Ratchet.

Images taken from a well-known auction site.

Starscream:

Note that the bio seemingly spoils the movie, but then people who have SEEN the movie claim the bio is wrong.

Also note that Starscream doesn't sport an assortment number anywhere, which would suggest that he's some sort of exclusive.

Thundercracker:

The pictures look better than the figure we saw a few weeks ago. The white is more subdued, from the looks of it.

You wouldn't happen to have a larger pic of the bio, would you? I'm straining, trying to read it, but the print's a bit too small for my eyes.

It's all right with me if Screamer's an exclusive, since I plan on getting the movie version, but I'm hoping TC gets a mass-release, since he has a new head and all. Looks like Screamer's using the TC head, but no need for two "Movie" Starscreams, if I have the option to get the mold as a unique character.

I can't decide whether I love or hate Hasbro. Screamer and TC? These boys are mine mine mine, but, if Starscream is an exclusive, I'll be too skint to get Thundercracker. Or the inevitable Skywarp. Nice looking jet modes there without everything being glaringly white, which is more like reality (hoping the packaging isn't acting as a filter).
