A few things:
1) This is from the TF Fandom's taboid
2) While I can buy the OVA I'm not sure if I buy the new "post live
action movie" TV show.
So remember to take this with a
and pass the grains around.

A "possible" G1 one series? I think in some sort of way, no matter what happens, a series will be released to tie in with the movie. I anticipate that will happen. As far as 100 episodes, that is a whole lot of episodes.
I do like the fact of this being G3. I mean why not, we know that this movie might have some Armada/Energon characters, like one or two but for the most part, its going to be 85% G1 with a twist.

Well, Prime, could be that Hasbro will sign a deal with Gonzo to produce a DVD with animated tie-in, but i'm not sure that they want sign for a two season series first the release of the movie.
Could be a sort of "preorder" ... IF the DVD (and the Movie, obviously) will be huge hit, then a series will be created and aired by GONZO, but not a fact at this point ..... remember that they started to write the second script, but they don't have a definitive version, yet.

Well, I'd like to believe all of that, but I find it hard to believe. GONZO is a great animation studio, and I love their work. The studio could easily pull off a great G1 show with or without a movie. So I don't think the movie would have much to do with it, good or bad, other than being a follow up show.
100 episodes is pretty far fetched. You have to think that most shows, including animated ones, only have 23 - 26 or so eps to a season. I can't believe that they would be able to put out 50 eps in one season and keep the same quality that GONZO is known for.
I've been ackin' for a new series to be made with the G1 characters. I was hoping that after the Beast Wars success, that they would have made a new G1 CG series, but sadly no.

Power Ranger have 46 eps (if i remember correctly) in a series, and the quality of the last series is far better than the original ... something to think about ... number of eps is not the most relevant argument
