Lovely, I was just starting to get tempted by the pricey TFC version too... Percy's a great figure, even if I do (for once) wish they'd redone the head.

Sweet. I have heard that they're doing a Classics Insecticon reissue as well... I love this.

Do you have a date for the release of this figure? I wish they would have given him a new face also, he looks a bit too much like Prime. I hope the insecticon reissue is a 3 pack.

TFWiki thinks the Insecticons will be a three pack. Joy!!!
Ah, yes... Perceptor's face. Doesn't bother me too much, really. I kind of like faceplates.

I like faceplates too, but a big part of why I like Perceptor is his cartoon portrayal as a loveable geek. The head combined with the astonishing level of weaponry means the toy version always looks like it's about to scream "I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!" and start dismembering people doesn't really gel with that...

Still, customised fan-made accessories seem to be coming more and more common and viable, so maybe someone will do a replacement head [/hopeful]

Sorry, I don't know that info yet. As soon as I do, I'll post it -- or someone else will.

Looks beautiful. I always liked Perceptor, he's kind of like the Ultimate Nerd Transformer.

"OH YEAH? WELL MINE TURNS INTO A MICROSCOPE!"
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

Nobody ever reads my checklists, do you? ;)

Insecticons will be a three-pack (packaging shown at BotCon, no individual names of the Insecticons known yet, Bombshell will probably be "Hardshell" again, not sure about Shrapnel), projected release date for them and Perceptor is September.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Good thing for everybody that Shane McCarthy came along with a superb revisionist take on the character then isn't I'm sorry I can't even finish writing that.

So that's what he's been doing, writing the characters based on how their toys look rather than bothering to research any past media. A method that's even extended to his own creation with Drift being a complete non entity.

Does anyone know how much Perceptor will cost?
Or where he'll be available
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

Yet the boxart is without face plate. :( I'm looking forward to the Insecticon set but Perceptor is pretty tempting too!

BTW, Perceptor is the only Transformer my brother had that I didn't. But I thought it was great!

I feel utterly ignored.

When you consider it's Catalyst Dragon, I'd count that as a good thing.

More seriously, maybe duplicate upcoming stuff to a single, smaller page?

$35 is a tasty price.

I didn't know Perceptor actually had knee articulation that worked the way knees are SUPPOSED to!
