Energon Bio Cards To Replace Tech Spec Cards In Toys

Post by Bombshell »

A news bit from TFW2005.com reports that bio cards, containing box artwork, tech specs and quote, are being used in Energon toys now, and will be replacing the older tech cards.

Front Of Hot Shot, Starscream and Inferno Tech Spec Cards

Back Of Hot Shot, Starscream and Inferno Tech Spec Cards

I must say that I like this, as it goes back to the old "tech spec" feel not seen since RID.

Nice, but I do have a question, somewhere I've seen like power stats for the Characters, now always its on the back of the card/box, is it going to change and put it on a card or is it gonna stay there?

Had I known they were going to do that, I'd have waited a bit on Energon. I'd much rather have a bio than stats.

I like Starscream's bio. It gives me the reassurance that he could still become a bot again.

looks cool - love screamer's writeup :)

although someone should slap a "spoilers" thingy on the thread - some people might get upset or something ;)

Makes me wonder if the current editions out there with the vastly different cards will become collector's items...

Let it be said that I don't cater to the wishes of the people.

Nuts. I'm probably the only one who prefers the stat numbers to the bios. (well, technically, I'd like both)

Damn, I already bought Starscream and Hot Shot. I'd really like these cards instead.

aaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhh. :wall:

Clicked on the links but a message shows saying something about a fatal error.

Would really like to see these as I already have most of the wave 1 & 2 energon line. Can anyone help ? :)

Think they should go back to the the origional tech cards like the G1 figures had with character profiles as well as the strength, rank, skill, etc points system. Gives a nice insight to the background of the character. Its a shame they didnt think of it sooner and started to use them again in the Armada line.
