Not overly detailed but still very nice artwork.

Wow, Snarl, that completely justies them omitting one of the best shots in the thing, and makes sure this has a reason for happening.

Presumably that's the DW house style still muscling in, yeh?

I thought Don was drawing this? I see a lot of Pat Lee puffiness in those panels...
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Exactly what I thought... That said, without wanting to sound like one of Don's army of fanboys, I can't imagine a brief of drawing animation cels bought out the best in him... it's the sort of project the philanthropic, non-profit IDW should have given to those strays they've adopted like Milne, Joe Grunt, etc, etc and so on. It'd be like asking Jim Lee to do an adaptation of X-Men 2...

I don't see what use it'll be to cartoon fans, either - they're largely illiterate. In all seriousness, though, I can't see it replacing, or even really complementing, the DVD. It's just such a missed opportunity for a decent tie-in comic.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought "Dear God no, Pat Lee's left the Porsche and is back in the TF art building!!!" when I saw that.

As a comics fan, I like it :) . You have got to see some of the cack that has been passed off as art over the recent few years and this ain't nowt like it, our kid.

I'll buy it as a transFan, too, as my boys will want it (and please refer to above statement).
