Parts read serious, parts (human-y references) flippant—not sure what kind of balance you were looking for.

Effects are great, especially the transformation blends.

Is it a battle-heavy storyline overall, or will there be more dialogue in other parts?

I like it.

I would do that kind of thing, but it's an arse load of work (more pictures, typing, etc than the children's book). You have wonderful photoshopping skills; the lasers look great!

You have gotten me thinking about doing another children's story, though... hmm...

Definitely. The battle damage looks very good too - some artificial charring on the carpet would have made it a little less apparently toys in the living room, but that's just icing.

The frames all look good. Everything's easy to follow, and most of the action shots are very easy to decipher. A few of the shots are a little awkward (like Megatron ordering the cease-fire), but still a good piece overall.

The dialogue could also use to be rewritten in a few spots, like Blitzwing's first line on page 15. Still, little to complain about. Nicely done.

Thanks for the advice. I can always go back and tweak it a little, since this isn't the official launch ;)

It doesn't really show in the prologue, but it's supposed to be a blend of the two. It's comical, but then things can get dramatic. There are going to be a lot of dialogue scenes (especially opening up) with battle scenes in between. The first chapter is really about learning the oddball rules that go with the house. so there are some funny moments. (by the way, this is an atmosphere where everyone is aware they're toys in a house. The fact that they can shoot each other and blow themselves up within this medium...well, that will all get explained in chapter one)

The major reason for the comedy is so I can label it "satire." I put the joke in the beginning to make it clear there WOULD be jokes/comedy. The Gundams themselves have sort of established their own personalities, with those Victory Gundam guys (the blue and green ones, and the white one that got his head blown off) being a sort of cannon fodder.

I really should get back to working on it. I've got a whole lot of strips already done, but it's gotten me to realize just how many more I'll need.

I'm still working on it. It's supposed to go for a couple of years, so there'll be a lot of story to tell. I'm still figuring if I'm going to post updates three times or five times a week. Three I think is too slow, but five might be hard to keep up with.

When I finally get the site built, I'll post here to let everyone know. :)

Well, while this seems like grave digging, I'm actually finally adding to the thing. I put it all on hiatus some time ago while working on another project. With it completed, I'm back focusing on this story.

I've actually been piecing it together little by little the last year plus, so it's not as though the comic has been on a complete hold. But, now I can focus on it and keep the story moving.

I'll go ahead and post a few strips at a time for the while, just to get the story going. Those that viewed it the first time may wish to look again to refresh (I also upgraded--not so much updated--the photos from the prologue)

Anyway, we start!

That's pretty cool man. Slight under-lying 'Red Vs Blue' style humour to it too, interested to see where it goes.

Interesting way to describe it. I never quite thought of it that way.

The posts will probably slow down as I get closer to where I'm at right now. But, for the moment, I'll go ahead and show a bunch at a time just to get it moving:

Yay! Terrorcons. Liking this a lot so far. :)

What's the story of Speedbreaker's "wings"? Your own modification?

Not getting what's so funny about the name either. A pun? :glance:

I'm guessing there's already a Speedbreaker in the house :)

Beautiful stuff, m'man, and very, very funny. Actually a bit Ultimates - razor-sharp dialogue, stunning fight scenes, many bastards. Dunno how I missed this first time around. And I *love* the transformations.

Brilliant!

Thanks, glad you all like it so far.

The "Wing" was an add-on to separate this particular fellow from the usual Blue Speedbreaker. There is an actual story around that whole name thing (Cliffy's got it, I'll go ahead and say so). It's actually the easiest way to explain why a lot of characters who share names with other toy characters will be named differently, but we'll get to all that later.

Anyway, on with the show!
